link Skip to about 1:15 for the good bit. PS. The windmilling looks a little sissy, but it was more than enough to cut the hell out of my fingers. |

Would you actually give away what's left of the guitar? *joins Jessie and Inna* Anyway, that was so fucking cool! :) Next time (well, if you have enough money for a next time), try to do it with the guitar still plugged to get some cool noises, a la Jimi Hendrix and Pete Townshed. :P |

why would someone waste such an instrument? :'( so many poor guitars....they couldve gone to wannabe guitarists like me, and jess and a bunch of others XD |

This was not a good guitar. It was moderately comfortable to play, but had many problems that were not worth fixing. In a hundred years it probably would've been in landfill anyway. Should I have written "I Can't Believe It's Not Fender" on the thing to make everyone feel better? |

The wood just wasn't very high quality. For that matter neither were the pickups. Or the bridge. And the frets were kinda worn. The saving grace of the instrument is that it was extremely fun to sit and play. And to be fair it held it's tune a lot better once I restrung it properly (the guy who sold it to me must've been some kind of cretin..... had done it all wrong). I do miss it, actually; it's been the guitar I play while spamming QZ or editing video. Ah well. |

You can't break it like that, but you can do some damage, or at least scratch its body badly. Or get your hair stuck in the tuning pegs (which has already happened several times to me while moivng the guitar from a room to another without its bag - it hurts!). |

Why don't you spend your money getting a decent haircut, instead of buying new guitars. ;-) |
Donna13 04.12.2007 17:16 |
I was completely entertained by that in a smiley giggly way - anticipating what was coming up. Good job on that scream! I thought it was at a pretty good volume too ... to feature it properly, right? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the smashing. I did. Every guitar has its purpose and this one entertained a lot of people in its life and will not be forgotten. :) |

Every guitar has its purpose and this one entertained a lot of people in its life and will not be forgotten. :)That SCREAM.... ugh, I nailed it comfortably in rehearsals about 5 times during the week of the gig, but when it comes to doing it live I just lose it and go a bit over the top. The guy running the PA was a Who fan though, as soon as that song came on everything got ten times louder.. it was almost like being at a proper gig. Ha-ha. So consequently, that scream was pretty loud. The guitar.... paid the price for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, I'm afraid! I've had a long year full of heart-ache and it was my big chance to hand out a big bag of "FUCK YOU" to some people. I'm not acting, in the video... I'm really quite angry. Not very me is it :/ ANYWAY, fuck... long post. Thanks for watching, Donna ol' chum! |

Nice trousers during the final part of the video. ;) link By the way, there was a girl screaming your name throughout the video... Good job. ;) |

Well, until you're a famous rockstar and you actually have a bunch of screaming fans, you could hide the fact that the person screaming on your first guitar smashing video was your sister. ;P 10 years after your first famous album was released, you could release a special DVD, and on the interview you could comment how in the beginning your sister was the only one to scream your name and you used to spread stories about sexy ladies in the audience begging to be your groupies. :P |
