Hey there 'zoners. I was listening to some Queen tunes on YouTube and found an amv ( link ) featuring Mr. Bad Guy in somebody's channel. I'd never heard the song before, but I knew that it was on Fred's first solo album from 1985, so I was expecting something really synthy and 80's. But this doesn't sound like 1985! This mix of funky guitar and orchestra is awesome! But it sounds too modern to be the original, so I did some more research (i.e. searched for "mr bad guy" on YT lol) and found a couple of videos with versions of the song that sounded more reminiscent of that decade. For example, this one link
btw I prefer the imagery in this amv link over the first one I found
Dude, get over yourself. I tried searching for the answer in these forums, but of course the search function doesn't work very well. I wikipedia'd it, googled it. I didn't post this thread in the discussion forum because I knew that I'd get replies akin to "this is the 300th time this question is being asked."

Using the search button, I found out that YOU are correct (sorry P_G). This question has only been asked 47 times, a far cry from 300.
46 of 47 threads claim the track originates from the Mr. Bad Guy album, you know, the one with Freddie wearing those sunglasses and the Paul Rodgers tanktop?
The other thread claims it's an old re-worked Free song that Freddie really liked.
