It was on today at 2 pm, it may be on again later tonight if anyone is interested in recording it as I did. It's channel 36 on the Rogers network.
I planned to share it, however it is an official release so no can do.
Does anyone know the date of this show? It looks like the 1981 tour, but I don't know the specific date.
Also, in case anyone has seen the DVD, has the live audio been replaced with studio audio? The band appears very very sharp...maybe too sharp??? It's a great show anyway, wish I could have shared it with you.
Audio and video are both 10/10.
This is one of my favorite DVDs. It was shot on film by a new company at the time called "Mobilevision" which was sort of like a I-Max show-hence the very sharp picture. It was shot over two nights at the Forum in Montreal on November 24th and 25th 1981. It was pieced together with footage from both nights. Not sure if sound was redone or not-I always just assumed it was recorded live with studio like sound to accompany the fantactic picture quality which is said to have been projected about five stories high when originaly shown. If you ever get a chance to hear the DVD, it has commentary by the director explaining a lot about the filming.

That explains a lot. The piece that was broadcast was 75 minutes, take out the commercials and you have 60 minutes, so it's obviously not the entire show.
It's excellent Queen, but it just doesn't feel like a live concert.
Thanks for your reply.
