Ever since the so called web 2.0 hype started approx. two years ago we've seen a lot of videos that are shocking, demented, funny, odd, sick, talentless, amateur porn and innuendo1990 naked.
Every fart is being posted. People are invading their own privacy by blogging their musings, rants and just shockingly private things. It's a bit worrying to see where our society is moving toward. If someone had told me as early as 7 years ago that in 2007 it would be a popular thing to just document everything you do on the computer and even in your life and post it on the web i would think that someone had been sniffing too much snow.
But it's reality now and it's like everyone wants to grab their 15 minutes of fame no matter what the consequents are.
Seriously, i think it's alarming.
Discuss. ;)
(yes here, on the web)
I think it's all a good thing.
The attention seekers, instead of harassing us, can just film themselves doing some big shit and then post it on YouTube. This could be harmful to them - but it's their own choice. We have the power not to watch their crap if we don't want, and we have the option to watch it and laugh at them. ;)

I heart youtube. But only for watching stuff I've missed on TV etc, not for... displaying my emotions to the world. Or watching other people's emotions displayed to the world.
I think it's a bit nerve wracking myself...I don't like the way it's heading either. I only wish the attention seekers would just post there and stay out of our hair, but as demonstrated from QZ here we still have tons of stupid, immature people who do nothing but post stuff that might as well be "Look at me!! Look at me!!!"
Grr!!
