Please forgive me if I have missed a discussion, somewhere, as I am new here.
Does anyone know anything about the author of the book, "Innuendoes,"?
I came across the website, in my never ending search for more Queen info, and, must say I was a bit mystified.
Has anyone here read the book? What are your thoughts? Are the answers to the tantalizing questions, hinted at on the website, really answered within? And, what is the deal with the author? What is her connection to Queen?
Help!

I saw that website too, there was a pdf of the book up for a while. From what I read there are no answers to anything Queen-related. She spouts a load of mumbo-jumbo and claims that Queen songs all have these really deep messages and symbolism. The author seems to have some serious delusional problems, and the only connection to Queen appears to be the photo she put up of the day she met Brian May.
Aah. These were my suspicions, however, there was a small part of me that wondered if I may have missed some important piece of information out there, and my googling skills were just not up to par.
Thanks for your response!
You're welcome Dusta! I found that site under similar circumstances to you, it popped up on a search and I took a look around. Some of the author's claims are outrageous. She says her presence had a direct influence on Freddie's stage demeanour during the Live at the Bowl concert-it'd be funny if it weren't so disturbing!
I found myself rather creeped out, reading it, and thought I MUST be missing something. I thought she must have some long ago connection with Freddie that did not make it to the press. I also wondered why I'd heard almost nothing about the book.
Oh... I think I remember that website... Isn't that the thing where she supposedly communicates with Freddie after he's dead and all of that business? Good Lord, I haven't thought of THAT bunch of rubbish in ages.
Okay, so, I musn't be missing anything, then.
I am ashamed to admit that there was a tiny part of me that wondered if this was, somehow, a childhood friend of Freddie's, who'd shared some horrific experience...then, I'd read something that sounded a bit too much like a college friend who was once quite certain that she was speaking to my old, dead, cowboy boyfriend via Oija board...
Odd...just...odd. I am glad it's over. I feel as if I need to take a shower, and, I'm ever so grateful I ventured here for some feedback. I'll not be tracking this book down.
Yes, you'd do well to keep away! Spookily, I've come across no less than THREE sites run by different women who claim to have some spiritual connection to Freddie-what's all that about?!
I remember something from that site that says Headlong is about Freddie, then I came across some well known QueenZoners and they believe anything that women says.
