I definetely remember reading at the time of the Los Angeles gig that they did go to a studio and recorded it. Sounds like a Paul song to me, not much to do with Queen, but it's not bad, in the end. I hope they do something more Queen than PR next time, or maybe something really new, as they seem to be looking for.

True dat. Brian, Roger, and Paul are good enough at what they do, they don't need help in the studio. I can't wait for the new album to come out!! It's going to be very interesting...
L-R-TIGER1994 is a fuckwit: Taking into account all the crap that has been posted on this forum, this post would perfectly fit in the 21st century crap posts for sure.

Probably not. What'd they need them for? They can use multi-track quite easily to play all the instruments by themselves.
I guess FriedChicken meant that they should not use the recording I mentioned some posts before him. That recording was during the USA 2006 tour and it should include the touring band.
BTW, I agree that maybe they could do better without the touring band.

I wouldn't complain if Danny came in to handle bass. Honestly, I think about the best bass player out there right now is Gail Ann Dorsey (who tours with David Bowie), but she doesn't have the type of "stay in the background" character that John Deacon did, or that the current band would probably look for. Bringing Danny Miranda in to handle bass, ok, kind of necessary, and he's pretty good at it. Maybe Spike for a song or two of Roger's, since Roger loves synths, but too much synthing ruined Hot Space, The Works, and A Kind of Magic in many ways.

Yes, they can- but their bass lines are SHIT...
Bri is an awesome guitarist, Roger is a brilliant drummer- the record would really benefit if a bass guitar was handled by a PROFICIENT bass player... and neither B. nor R. is one...
