Ok, so in the light of recent 'sharing'discussions I would like to request if a kind soul could share the studio (not radio) version of 'The Call' please. Strange as it may sound I'm wanting to choreograph part of a dance/theatre project to this number and the live/radio versions just not suitable.
So can I please request this in a very humble fashion - even if it is emailed to me rather than posted here. I do not have much collectable material - but should it be on a 'trade' basis I do have one piece in collection that may be of interest to traders (please email).
Thanks
I believe The Call is the radio version, as the DJ at the end of the song announces that the radio station is "Capital Gold".
I hope to remove any official songs (if any) that anyone from QZ can provide evidence as to which songs are official.
I hope to re-upload the solo songs (minus any confirmed official songs) tomorrow 24 hours from now.
No problem Mike, I already have the radio version, but thank you anyway for you help and time. P.Guru - could I ask a big favour please and request any ideas on how I could go about tracking down the studio version? Kind regards.
1. Burgle Brian May
2. Ask Brian May
3. Burgle Capitol Radio (may not work as they may have returned the recording)
4. Burgle Nelson Mandela (may not work as he may not keep such material, plus the risk of being shot during the process is quite high)
Good luck, let us all know how you get on.
Hiya Mike - PG is totally correct about fades and 'DJ' thanks PG. It is also a matter of quality as this song would need to be played at volume over a PA system in a theatre setting. Although your uploaded version is better quality than most, still the mp3 type 'tinkles' can be heard above the song and are vastly amplified and distort when put through a PA. Also the song would need to stand up quality wise against the other songs to be used in the show of near CD quality. Thanks anyway though Mike for the files you have uploaded they will be much enjoyed so thanks lots!
Does anyone here remember some months ago a kind individual posting a 20 second snippet of the studio version. Can anybody remember the username of this person? Thanks in advance.
I defy your dancers to try and dance to this song. It's all stoppy and starty. They'll just trip over themselves!
ARE YOU A MAN
(SHOONK)
OR JUST A NUMBER
Ah, you see we all have two left feet so do not trip in situations others may fall foul! It will be in the form of a soloist and 5/9 dancers supporting (manipulating! and lifting!). Thanks for the comment Zebonka - will definately use the "are you a man" - "boink" & pose!.
