^ lol. Don't be nervous! It's your opinion and I think there's nothing wrong with it :D And I also think that Elton John and Queen have things in common. :P! Freddie was, after all, like best friends with Elton John. :D
Elton John was good before his voice operation. Then his singing began to sound like a boring guy on his lunchbreak and coincidentally his songwriting hit the shit factory biscuits. Like that awful fucking duet he did with that woman a few years ago, I can't remember her name but the filmclip was them two in bubbles or something.
Really. Elton John should've just, I dunno, stopped in the snow.
I think the songs he wrote for Diana and Freddie are so beautiful! 'Something About The Way You Look Tonight'and'Candle In The Wind'-Brings tears to my eyes:)
Huh, what song did he write about Freddie? I like Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Candle in the Wind 1997, Funeral For A Friend and Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting...and let's not forget the duet with George Michael - "Don't let the sun go down on me", probably my favourite. But I don't like him THAT much, he's a great artist and might be the best rock pianist. Can't stand the song "Tiny Dancer" to be honest, "Your Song" is nice though.

I like Elton John. He's brilliant. A living legend.
I think he was a better, more creative artist back in the 70's when he just shut up and let the music speak for itself. Over time I think he's come to act like a bit of a prima donna and he believes his own publicity. I can't stand the comments from him in the Queen Magic Years documentary when he's sitting there bitching about Freddie "I see 'she's' losing 'her' hair....he's had that clone look for a long time...Freddie wouldn't know the price of milk,he's more likely to be able to tell you the price of nail varnish" and all the while he's wearing that ridiculous black, feathery outfit and stupid hat to mask his own obvious baldness-he seems to think his comments are funny but he just comes across as a catty old queen.
yeah, elton's cool to a certain degree.I like his more uptempo stuff like 'im still standing' and 'saturday night' and 'crocodile rock'.however,i do like 'song for guy' but 'daniel' has me climbing the walls and i think the duets hes done have been to a certain extent 'woeful' esp the one with SAIF's friend miss celine dion in the bubble video[i think it was her anyway].
elton duetted with leeanne rimes in writtien in the starrs.that was in 1999.but i still think elton is an amazing guy, after all he helped me become a queen fan,and i think roger and him are sre still friends.
I really like Elton John! :D My mom has been to like 1,000 of his concerts! Everybody makes fun of me b/c I listen to him, though... "All you listen to is old queer music like Queen and Elton John..." My friends are such idiots. I need some new ones. :P
