Comment: This comes directly from the Queen Will Be Crowned silver, the quality is the best around. Freddie sounds a little bit distant on the songs before the rock'n'roll medley but that's not due to the recording. This is also the first soundboard recording and the first recording of Queen live around.
DO NOT SHARE THIS IN ANY FORM OF LOSSY FORMAT (WHICH MEANS MP3, WMA, OGG ETC.) Convert to lossy only for personal use. If this gets shared in any form of lossy format I will stop sharing. Lineage should always be included as information in trades.
Enjoy!!!
Feel free to make a torrent of this recording, only if it stays lossless.

Andy, you're going to LOVE this version. As for your "Paris Theatre 73", I doubt that's genuine, because anything previously labeled with that date was actually other common 73 shows like Golders Green, Oxford, and maybe Birmingham too. But hey, I'd love to be proven wrong on this one. Give it a try!
This is unbelievable! It's like FLAC-heaven! Thanks so much for all the effort you've put in to share these shows. I think you may well inspire others to share - we'll just pray for a release from the curse of the mp3...
Okay, I'll add to the argument: I've already had a very good mp3 version of he concert and now I could compare it to the FLAC version. Yes, it's there, the difference. Hard to describe, but definitely there. You can hear it when you concentrate on the quiet parts like the cymbals. They sound much smoother and less distorted. Not necessarily crispier or lighter. But simply better. And there's an overall "artificial", metallic sound in the mp3 version, and it sounds slightly narrower.
But: I had to listen closely and I had to swap discs a few time to hear the difference.
However, thank you for the improvement!
How's that easier when you ride in a car ;-) ???
Seriously, I did my comparison in the place where I hear Queen mostly – in my car. And even there the difference could be heard.
If you play them on a 10.000 Euro/$ stereo at home I understand that mp3s can be bothering. For cars, iPods or computer speakers at work they're more than okay – my opinion.
But that's not the issue, I know. It's about preserving the quality, and there is no other way than keeping it lossless. I won't convert and share any of the concerts in mp3, in fact I will delete the files after burning them to cd. There's a good thing running at the moment at QZ, I wouldn't want to stop it.
Bye,
Nummer2
Have to absolutely say how AMAZING this version is. The other times I've downloaded this, the quality - while still quite good - hasn't been seamless between tracks...but this version TOTALLY blows the others out of the water!!
Bravo to _Tatterdamilion_ for offering it up for download. THANK YOU!!!
GREAT SOUND!!!
What's the story with the last 2 tracks tho...where did they come from ? The 'Doing All Right' simply sounds like some sort of edit of the album version...haven't listened to the version of 'Ogre Battle' yet tho.
Ogre Battle - this is the COMPLETE BBC version from session 3, the edited version (minus the weird intro) was released (in MUCH better quality) on At the Beeb and Queen At BBC.
Doing Allright - sounds exactly like the album version , does anybody know, where's the difference ?
Doin' All Right...someone appears to have edited the intro so it appears to be longer, but simply starts over after the (I think...) first 8 counts (if that makes any sense...) The rest of it is identical to the Album version.
