heyho -
anybody noticed this strange crack-sound in "loser in the end"? it appears right after roger sings "goodbye ma" (1:09 min).
do you think this happened by mistake (sounds like plugging a cable into an amplifier) or does it appear there on purpose (with some imagination it could be a door slamming - so it would fit in this context: "goodbye ma! -slam-" ??
curious about your opinions...

I heard something aswell at the end like a girl saying goodbye aswell....I wrote a thread about it but no-one believed me oh well...
A bit off topic, but have you guys noticed the metallic sound when Roger says 'The hubcaps all gleam' in IILWMCar?
Apparently RTB and Brian and whomever else forgot about this when doing the 5.1 mix though, because it's missing there.

Yeah, I noticed it too.
Maybe they removed it on purpose? And wasn't it supposed to be on the album version so they removed it for the 5.1 mix?

I can't check right now.. but I believe it's on the original single mix too (as included on GH:WWRY Edition) as well as the 'Rocks' hybrid version.. maybe even the Hollywood '91 remix, LOL. I'm just so used to hearing it..
But I'm not sure exactly what you mean I guess. I meant the 5.1 DTS/DVD-Audio and anniversary DTS version, which is the album version, so it really should be there in my opinion. Of course there are many examples of things missing from the remixes but once someone pointed this sound out to me, I thought it was so cool and expected to always hear it :)
speaking of "night at the opera" 5.1 -
what about bohemian rhapsody?
it's the guitar-fanfare-section where the heavy part fades to the slow end bit - and there's a breathing noise or something like that (probably freddie cleaning his throat?!) at 4:48-4:49 in the background.
did they remove that noise too?
if so, i'd surely miss it - strangely enough it's sort of part of the song i think! :)
the question is not, if the crack is supposed to sound like a door slam - question is if it's there on purpose!
somebody might have stepped on some broken cable or plugged it out accidentally whilst recording the song and they forgot to remove the noise when it came to mastering...
I apologize for going completely off subject, but I have noticed a similarity in "accidental" noises in some songs...Has anyone, for instance, noticed, that In LIAR...somewhere in the song, in the beginning, when Roger starts drumming, it is as if someone sneezes? lol...also, in we will rock you...when the second or third stomp comes on, there is like a moan...lol...did anyone notice that?

this is kinda off topic, but was it actually supposed to be part of the song? um... in innuendo, someone says one, two, three, four before roger starts drumming... :)
The noice that comes when they sing 'The hubcaps all gleam' sounds like when my mum is yawning :p.. Seriously, the first twenty times I heard thge song, I turned around to see if my mum was in the room :S! SPOOKY!!!!
