Is it just me who finds it wired, that they added that one?? 23 minuttes of pretty much nothing :p..
Just bought Made In Heaven btw.. It´s so brilliant! :D
It's a 'musical journey to Heaven'. Freddie's journey to Heaven, I'd say, considering his exclamation of "Fab!" at the end... when he reaches his destination. Maybe it was their way of seeing him off safely.
:-)

That thought was my thought too and it's a lovely one. It's so calming though, Freddie has reached his destination, yup.
Track 13 *is* fab I think! :-P
I sometimes listen to it, and it's very relaxing (except for the "bang" somewhere in the middle that shakes you up!)
In my humble opinion, this track is also very useful for meditation. I medidate at times, and this track is a very welcome alternative for the "dolphins and whales-sounds-CD's " wich are often used for that purpose! :-)
And I think Fred is saying " are you running?"
That he actually means the taperecorder seems of no discussion to me. Also nice laughter sounds and peaceful soft rain.
No musical track, but..special. VERY special!!

Very special indeed.
But the laughter in the middle, or wherever it is, I can't recall now, when it's extended and echoes... it kinda freaks me out. <shudder> That part really bothers me for some reason.
But I agree with you about the rest of the piece's meditative qualities.
Fab.
and what did he say right before it ended. it sounds like ba! if anyone that has been to see and queen and paul rogers in concert. they played that song after the show. i noticed it when i was leaving. did any of you catch it too? i was looking up and thinking freddie you were here with us.
It relates to Freddie in after life based on his zoroastrian belief in one god and one Freddie Mercury fab approach to reality mixed with running exercise for AIDS infested people.
I had the thing running one night, thinking 'well this is kinda creepy but it's nice and relaxing', and then BANG those fucking chimes went off and I nearly shat myself. I calmed down and kept reading my book and then I heard GHOST LAUGHING, and I nearly turned it off right then.
But again, I calmed down, then the song ended and I was pretty much thinking "awww that's nice, he's gone to Heaven"...
"FAB!".
Shat My Pants.
I listened to it last night, when I was about to sleep, and emagined that it really was Freddies journey to heaven. I saw him as a lightball leaving his body. leaving heaven to find peace.. It actually made me cry :)

This track was actually recorded in the distant future, where quiet sort of ambient pieces were popular at the time. Brian did the whole thing himself (he's the time traveller) because Roger and John were scared to get in the machine. It's actually not quite as long as it seems.. some manipulation took place on the journey back, but with a little tweaking from Justin Shirley-Smith, it turned out rather nice back in 1995 and the band gave their approval.
Has nothing to do with Freddie's idea of Heaven though. You don't hear samples of "Y.M.C.A." in there do you?
I love love love love this track!! I listen to it whenever I'm upset and its long enough to get me to calm down and realise whatever I need to realise, and I like the little loud bits (wind chimes, etc..) in the middle they seem to help, and I love Freddie laughing, its great, and the "fab" at the end just makes it perfect, I love love love it.
