I'm doing a research paper on Live Aid, and I came across this site and I noticed that a majority of these reviews mention Queen and how amazing they were. If your interested take a look: link

Thanks for that! ^.^
Queen were the best there, some was good some was dead but Queen was anything BUT dead, they were ALIVE and busting with their amazing hits.
Plain and simple:
Queen's performance at live aid was one of the best totally live, totally vunerable, "don't fuck up the world is watching" performances that has ever been done...anywhere, anytime.
I was 7 years old during Live Aid, I remember going to the local swimming pool the next day, and all the cool high school guys had their white tank tops on, singing Radio Ga Ga into their lotion bottles, and all the high school girls were like "Oh shut up, you aren't Freddie Mercury."
They all stepped up that day....they all rocked under pressure...but that day belonged to Freddie... he was the shining star among 3 other bright ones.
Even fans who don't like Queen have admited to me that they were the best preformers there. Admitedly, I only bought the Live Aid DVD because Queen were on there :D
queen were the best in live aid. i think U2 were second by far. they really interacted with the audience. the phily part i thought was poorly done the audience really werent into it. YOU GO YOU WONDERFUL ENGLISH PEOPLE!
Definitely queen, they stole the show freddie was great he had the audiance in the palm of his hand, I liked david bowie and U2. evan bob geldof said queen stole the show. several months ago pbs, had thier annual fund raiser and it had live aid on it not the whole show but it did have the part with queen.

ur right........the US was kinda dead........boo you party poopers
Mr. Snow, your nickname and cocaine have a lot in common. Are you a converted drug addict? I don't think they had meth back in 1985,and if they did, it is a drug of last resort consumed by people who are too poor to afford anything else. Freddie had class and did coke. You on the other hand must have done a lot of crystal meth in your life and it burnt huge holes in your brain. Hence your bable.
Anyway, time to hit some fresh powder.
