i was just looking at the track listing for the 46664 cd and i saw this 'Invincible Hope' song right next to 'The Call'. so i am wondering if this is a Queen song also??? because it said that Roger and Brian play on it too and credit it as a Queen composition....maybe someone can shed more light on this subject for me please =)
Yep, a Queen song. Apparently written by Roger. Somebody made quite good fan mix out of the studio version some time ago. Definately worth listening, cos only a fragment was played at the concert. Check out the Fan mix section. It might still be there...
yes, I personally think its a great track - the full studio version was available on Itunes - might still be. Theres 2 versions - the original and a later single mix.
Or look in the hub, its not difficult to find.
It is a Roger track, but its fair to say that its the closest thing to 'queen' since 1991. Vocals are by Roger and Treanna Morris (and of course Nelson Mandela)
FYI, Amandla is also a queen composition although given that Anastacia did the vocals, its difficult to recognize Brian and Rogers input. Theres a studio version of this available too.
I've done my own remix of it - but I'm not very good and it doesn't sound too great, but I'd love one of the kings of remixes to have a go.

Can we really count Amadla as a Queen composition? I have the 46664 CD and it credits the song to Stewart/Anastacia/May/Louw/(prayer by A.Bonsu). So, NO, it's not a Queen track, imho.

I would have to disagree there, at least to the extent that I don't consider it any more or less a Queen composition than I did "Too Much Love Will Kill You", written by Brian May, Frank Musker and Elizabeth Lamers.
And to the original poster, the studio version of "Invincible Hope" as well as an official remix, can be purchased as downloads via the 46664 website and iTunes, respectively (I think).

I see your point BUT I still don't consider Amandla as a Queen song. It's just a charity song, imo, and Brian collaborated with some other artists. So, It has very little to do with Queen. It just happened that Bri and Rog decided to call themselves Queen for 46664 concert (to get more attention for the cause, I think). I don't know what Anastacia fans or D. Stewart fans think about this song, but it just doesn't make sense to call it simply a Queen song.
yes, I agree. TMLWKY is a difficult one 'cos Queen didn't originally want to release it (because of the co-writers). Instead Bri released his solo version. It seems that in some strange way, it's a cover version. If Bri hadn't released his version, I'd say TMLWKY is pure Queen song. There are other examples of someone outside the band co-writing a song (Doing Alright, All Gods People), and I think these are Queen songs indeed.
