This in fact, is "the question" not only in Mèxico but also in Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Perù, Brazil, etc. As for :link
or link
there is no official information on gigs in any of these countries.
Of course we all are yearning and longing to see QUUEN+PR in our countries and we hope ge get to have them live soon.
It would be a good idea for anybody to post an official text or link confiming such good news, don't you think so? We can not just speculate or spread rumors but real facts and news please, please.
Thank you very much.
Best wishes,
I have some information, not official of course, but: Jim Beach is negociating with producers from Brazil, Chile and Perú to bring Queen + Paul Rodgers to South America in 2007, probably February.
Say deaconMTY,
Colud you tell us if it was in a news section, a radio programme , o where else is in EXA that you got to get that information? Or who said so? Is there any link on the net where we could ask about it or maybe a phone number where we could call to find it out?
Thank you very much indeed.
Best wishes from Mèxico,
Hello everybody.
There is something for sure about this. When I personally know than Queen is coming to Mexico or any other country in America, I will post the information, officialy confirmed.
So, keep in contact!!!
See ya!!!
Hi:
Really? Wow!!!!
That'd be just great! Ya see, I've been trying to find that out via mails and surfing on the net almost all morning with no luck at all.There is no reply from the EXA radio Sation...Nobody nows anything about it yet.
It seems as far as it is said, they are only negociating, but that is all,or at least up to this very moment. We hope you can confirm such fantastic news to us all here.
We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you!!!
Best wishes from Mèxico,
In my opinion, it´s only natural they tour south America for the last time.
This is what i think:
They need to record an album with Paul Rodgers, and they will record it!!
Paul has some dates for solo concerts, so the South America tour would have to be after Paul´s tour.
But, as you know, in South America this is not the best time for outdoor concerts, so they probably tour there in the begining of 2007.
So:
1- They will record the new album until the end of this year;
2- January/February they tour South America for the promotion of the new album, not as an extention of this tour;
3- March/April- Probably another USa tour to promote the new album;
4- A summer tour in Europe, and probably their last, but well see.
This is only my opinion, but i really trhink that the South America tour is going to happen.
Take care
Hi there people.
Let me xplain about this rumors.
There's a radio show called "La Taquilla" (it means "the box office") that is hosted by a guy named Rene Franco and some other people. This is basically about showbiz news and is broadcasted by EXA FM station.
Well, this Franco guy seems to be a Queen fan (not a hardcore one) and he said that he was excited about some news he has, that there are some kind of negotiaton to have a Latinamerican tour of Queen plus Rodgers, Mexico included. There was some discussion about which mexican forums would be good for this kind of concerts, and finally, everybody agree when Franco said that Queen without Mercury still sounds great. In the background was the Return of the Champions CD playing, Radio Ga Ga indeed.
Well, this is it. This guy is an awfully egocentric human being, expert in everything, know-it-all, but I have to admit that he is very accurate in his gossip job.
Is the only news I've heard about. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
Saludos From Yucatan, Mexico!!!
Still can't believe it...I hope the show producers realices how many fans in Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico are. I miss the Bri show in '93, I won't miss this one, I swear.
It seems indeed that there are negotiations going on about a POSSIBLE tour of south america.
For now the band also still INTENDs to do a show in Scotland (and of course they don't come back together over here in Europe for only ONE show...!)
But I would not bet on a second USA tour... Unless we make sure the new QPR studio-album goes straight up to nr# 1 in the charts...
Anything could still happen, though...
South America is very probable-after they record the studio. If they come to the US it would only be for a few shows (LA-TX-Det-Boston) then it would be off to the UK/Europe...If they have new material don't rule Japan out-- they get everything -LOL
