I don't mean to sound pushy or asslike, but I was really excited about finally finding my Queen 2 story and posting it on here and no one is reading it. :'-( I really thought you guys would enjoy it what with all of the stories people are writing on this board, and I don't want to keep on taking time to type it up if no one is bothering to read it!
I'm not mad; Just frustrated. Even Mr. Snow's shitty threads are getting more recognition.
Just a thought - today is a religious holiday. Many people have company and can't spend the time online reading - like me. All day I've been breezing in here, then right out again. Give it a little more time. :-)
I know...maybe you're right. I did get a few comments yesterday.
I just was so excited about this story is all, I honestly don't mean to sound...well, mean.

I want to be writer slash doctor slash psychologist slash paranormalist ( is that a word? ) slash musician. Just an artist of some kind that'll get recognition... :-P

All that together is a big job, heh! But that's pretty cool.
Just wondering, the lyrics in your signature...What song is that from? Cos it really makes me chuckle.
Maybe it was shit, and no-one wants to reply to it, for fear of causing offence?
Who knows?
....she said, pulling the pin out of that particular grenade and rolling it down the chatroom...
Sorry to be a pain in the arse, but to be brutally honest, I really do not enjoy - nor read this sort of fiction - so I haven't!
I have NOT responded, because I find these threads of no interest.
That does not make me rude, but honest.
Now if some other 'zoner's feel the same way, then perhaps that is why there is little response.
Ofcourse, as an open forum you have the right to write whatever you like, and personally I support those rights, however, this does not include the 'right of reply', which unfortunately, you have no control over.
I suggest that you just be content with whatever support you receive, and if that is not forthcoming, then just forget it.
After about reading half of the first part, I found myself asking "Why am I reading this and what is the point of all this?"
So instead, I'm going to go have a hamburger.

There really is no need for that.
Still keep posting by all means, but you really need to accept that some folks just don't find your sort of fiction interesting.
Rather than focus on this as a negative, perhaps you could write for yourself (or the sheer pleasure of writing) and as long as ONE supporter agrees or likes what you do - then that should make the exercise worthwhile.
Better to rejoice in the 'one who appreciates', than be depressed about those who do not fawn all over your story.
All I can say is, that for your age, what you wrote isn't really that bad. When I was 12, I think I was licking the walls and making funny faces. So you're ahead of me....

Oh..oh wait a minute...you're 12!
Ah well then, that's ok!
You go right ahead, and keep posting.
In the teenage forum.
Away from the grown-ups.
Please.
