Indeed. I laughed my fucking eyeballs out. Brilliant.
Also during Hyde Park 1976: "Now seat your arses and listen!" They way he looks at that moment. Brilliant.
that is a great moment. How perfect that it happened right during a silent moment in the song. Definitely love that look Freddie gives.
...and a spring reverb to my best knowledge is basically an actual spring that vibrates to the sounds and resonates in a way that gives a reverb effect. They are most often found in guitar amps and when it gets knocked into or shaken around then it will make that crazy spaced out echoey "clank" sound that you're hearing.

Tech help, please.
What's a spring reverb?
An old style reverb device powered by a spring (not trying to be clever). They were usually found in guitar combo (top & speaker in one) amplifiers, and if you'd accidentally kick one that's just the sound you'd get.
Something I would like to share with the younger fans who only know Freddie from the videos that remain of him.....
Live in concert, Freddie made lots of funny faces and was very expressive. He had a fantastic cheeky sense of humor that he didn't try to conceal. He was someone who could laughingly call the audience a bunch of "Fuckers" and still get a laugh.
Another thing was Freddie's great respect for the audience....he would start out calling us "Ladies and Gentlemen" and chat to us as though was simply the host of a gigantic party where we were welcome guests and as important a part of the concert as the band.
He would also stop and tell little details or make comments as though he were sharing an intimate secret with a friend.
There was no way you could not love this man b/c he just exuded charm!
