Hi guys, just got back from seeing Jethro Tull at St Georges Hall in Bradford, England, possibly a venue on Queen's 73 and 74 tours (I know they played in Bradford), and to open up the 2nd half of the set, they played a folky version of Bohemian Rhapsody, it was very good :D
They also played Kashmir by Led Zeppelin.
The Bo Rhap guitar solo was done between flute and violin.
Has anybody else seen a band cover Bo Rhap in a strange way? There were no vocals in this by the way
Yeah I saw them do that here in Hollywood at the Kodak Theater in I think November...sounded very interesting! As I recall Brian's guitar solo (before the opera section) was played on a violin (then I think they went to Zeppelin instead of doing the opera part). I posted it on here but it never made the news section...also e-mailed it to Brian but he never responds to me :)
Was an excellent show by the way...it was so cool seeing the Kodak (where the have the Academy Awards) sold out weeks ahead of time for Jethro Tull...I was worried no one would show up! :)
I'm assuming there are probably boots of at least one of the performances of this version of Bo Rhap by now somewhere....
