Hi
I'm sorry, I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm looking for the These are the days of our lives video. Does anyone know where I can download the full version? I would be really grateful, I've been looking for it since a long time. Here are some screenshots of the version I mean, cause I believe there are 2 versions: link
Thanks so much!
So how much more blatant are we to allow asking for official material to become - and on the opening page of the General Discussion forum no less!
Can I also point out that LEGALLY one does not need be the HOST site to be prosecuted, LINKING sites are just as guilty in the eyes of the law, so linking to 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' is just as guilty as hosting it itself.
I may be a b*stard in the eyes of the leeching community, but as far as genuine Queenzoners are concerned, I would expect a bit more support, after all, when Queenzone is killed-off, where else will there be to go to?
Perhaps we should have a new Queenzone logo... "No Trolls admited", either that or it is time for some slight moderation.
Ofcourse, your common-garden troll would have no worries whatsoever, as like the true parasites they are, they will just migrate to another unsuspecting species, not giving a single passing thought to the destruction caused in their wake.
Thanks so much for that video, but there is another version of it too, I believe, I had it once, but I lost it. I can't find that version anywhere. I'm really sorry I posted it in the wrong section! I'm new here, so I wasn't totally sure where to post it.
My apologies!

Maja: Are you so new here that you just ignore my mail just because the advice does not suit you?
The posting of either of these videos is ILLEGAL. What part of illegal is it you have a problem understanding?
I was wondering if anyone cared about this, too, John. And doing it privately by exchanging email addresses is pretty crappy.
At least I've paid for every piece of Queen material I have.
It is.
What's the deal with all the stuff being posted on youtube - should this be cracked down on as well? It's trivially easy to download from youtube also.

Good on ya! I too have paid for all 21 of my Queen CD's. I feel so wrong if I rip Queen off. Sure, they are rolling in the money, but when you ILLEAGALLY burn or download there stuff it's like saying its not worth spending $30 (or how ever much a CD costs in your country) on, and believe me, it is.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all the downloads linked on this site technically illegal?
Audience recordings of concerts breach copyright laws, as do unauthorised remixes and even cover versions i believe require authorisation from the copyright owners.
Personally, I am quite happy to take the risk and download all these things, especially if they are no longer available (such as this version of the TATDOOL video), but I would also be the first to go and buy them if and when they are released.
Mr D...here here!!smartest thing i have heard since i have been awake.(10 min)JSS is correct but in all reality i have paid for Brian's summer house with all i have bought,so score one for the good guys.enjoy your video!
Well, if anyone could tell me where I could get the version I'm looking for legally, it would be nice too. Since I can't buy it anywhere, the only option for me is to download it from the internet.
Yeah, but why should some guy named Joe in Latvia be making a profit and Bri/Rog/John get nothing?
Someone will eventually sell the video for profit and you wonder why all this litigation of illegal downloads is going on?
I buy CDs, and pay for music through iTunes. But if something isn't readily available, I have no qualms about trying to find it elsewhere.
No one except die hard collectors should have to pay $175 for this: link
It's a great album, but so is my house, and I'd like to be able to keep affording it.
If something is in print and available, I have no problem paying the record company and creators for it. If it's out of print, i'm not going to give $175 to some jerk in Brainerd Minnesota for a Cross CD, and have none of that go to Brian and Roger.

Don't you think Roger got something when that album was originally purchased? I bought mine at the time of release, but probably would sell it if someone would give me $175!!!! Why is that so wrong? Kick yourself for not buying it. That's what makes collecting what it is. You just totally devalue it cause you're mad at your own ignorance.
I don't have a Honus Wagner rookie card either and that doesn't give me the right to print some up because an original is priceless.
But then you posting that link tells me that really care anyways.
*sighs*
Kids!!! We should have never stopped spanking them.
I do own my fair share of Queen collectibles, such as picture discs, shaped records, mini discs, etc. I've helped put Felix and Loisa through school!
And yes, Roger did get money for this when it was released - that's part of the point I'm trying to make! People sometimes claim that we are cheating Queen out of money if we post "officially released" material.
But "officially released" and "officially available" are two different things.
It's not wrong at all to sell MBADTK for $175. But a frequent conversation with people who request things that are out of print goes as follows:
Requester: Can you upload song x?
Queenzone: Song X IS AN OFFICIAL RELEASE! YOUR CELL AT GUANTANAMO BAY AWAITS!
Requester: My local record store can't order Song X
Queenzone: Did you try ebay? Song X is available for a ridiculous sum of money.
Someday I'd like to own a copy of MBADTK on CD for my collection. However, there are people out there who just want the music. And if it's not available for download for a pound per song off of of the Queen online store, go out and get it. The original release will STILL go for $175, because it's rare, and there is a demand for it as a collectible.
