I just got innuendo from my sister for my 17th birthday and i thoroughly enjoyed it. The lyric quality is as good as their 70's music and it was great to hear the vocal harmonies and brian use his guitar to its fully potential again. Though i did think that synths were used when they didnt need to be. None of the synths were overpowering like their 80's stuff and i think some of the songs didnt need it ie. the hitman. i also thought that Johns bass was much quieter than usual. And finally is this the only queen album to not contain any piano and if so why didnt they use any. But it really is one of their best albums. |

Is this really a serious discussion? If so, I just downloaded the latest Queenzone download - Brian May Planet Rock interview. It features Brian May being interviewed by ex-Black Sabbath guitarist, Toni Iommi, and you can download it yourself at: link Click on the "Edited Interview" for an mp3. It's 11:55 long and a 4.8MB file. |

But overall, I guess my main point is that even newbies can use their common sense. If not this 'SERIOUS' forum will turn into another 'was Freddie the postman or the letterbox' forum, with the excuse, 'I was being serious when I asked the question'. |

Apparently, PainPleasure still has a bug up his ass about that time that you called him out on posting official material. Looking through his post history, it appears that he was only good for posting "witty" one-liners and bumping extremely old threads. |

you guys take yourselves way too seriously. Serious or General, it's still a discussion about Queen so it's in the right place. If he posted in the announce forum then you could get mad. Chill out guys. Remember this is a Queen appreciation site, not a "you better post in the right forum or your head will be removed from your body" site. Oh and by the way, yes Innuendo rules! |

Apparently, PainPleasure still has a bug up his ass about that time that you called him out on posting official material. Looking through his post history, it appears that he was only good for posting "witty" one-liners and bumping extremely old threads. PainPleasure is the scapegoat of QZ...I'm the one who has bad posts, who tries to be witty, categorized by the intelligentsia of QZ which includes John S Stuart, Serry, Lester Burnham, Linda of The Valley, that Crawford guy and the list goes on and on and on and on and on... Lester, it seems, is a little annoyed by the fact that I bumped "one time" an old thread...what does it changes in his life? Nothing, but he has to talk about it... Serry and John S Stuart are the ones who want on QZ, telling people to fuck up when the make error, which is normal because people are human... On top of the list, you have Linda of the Valley who lecture everybody on QZ, but always tell people to fuck up when they do something bad or they say something that differs from her so pure opinion...you said that my comments are a waste of space? I wouldn't say a word if I were you..that comment you said mostly applies to you...Let's say you don't always show signs of maturity...what have you done to people so they like you? There all at your feet while you say fuck off every three lines... Yeah, it always goes the same way...you share things, you try make people happy and afterwards they treat you like shit...Why? Because you have to have to follow the line... I know you guys, you know everything better than the others on QZ... I agree with people that are gone from QZ that this place is starting to be let's say...kind of ordinary to be polite... Always fighting and fighting and fighting... You guys are way too serious it seems... I know what I'm worth, I don't need people from QZ to tell me that I'm an idiot or something like that...most of you guys have stupid answers to posts or have an exagerate use of words like idiot, moron, asshole, fuck, stupid, nothing so don't tell me that I'm this and that... Anyways, you have "that group" that tries to dump all the people who "doesn't follow that line". So I'm the new scapegoat? Always have to find one, my dears? Who will it be after? Bottom line, don't consider yourselves being better than others, because frankly, you're not...kind of funny in a way... To end, I already know your answers: PainPleasure, fuck you, moron, pathetic, get a life, you suck etc. I've heard it all...I've seen people buried...Hey I'm returning those kind words you all gonna say... Look at yourselves...it's not always pretty... Trying to be funny...I know I am...more than Serry at least... This place doesn't even deserve to be dedicated to Queen...it's a fighting place, not a Queen forum...I'm ashamed that you guys are Queen fans...I've been a Queen fan for 13 years and Queen doesn't need fans like you... Thank you beautiful people...good ni |

You bring up some good points, PainPleasure. How's that for shocking? As far as I see it, "Serious Discussion" is exactly that. It should be where people are allowed to seriously discuss Queen and their works, and it's not necessarily exclusive, where only the "experts" can post. At the same time, "General Discussion" is for the more lighthearted threads, where people can pretty much post anything they want about Queen. It was a good idea implemented by Richard. I realize that serious and general are subjective terms, but I can tell you that this isn't very much a serious discussion. Is it so wrong to have to try to maintain some kind of standard for the forums? Perhaps the jumping-down-peoples'-throats approach is a bit much, but there are times when the situation calls for it. Was this one of them? I don't know. However, if you thought that John's comment was unnecessary (incidentally, it was actually somewhat informative, if you'd bothered to read it), why did you post equally unnecessary comments in this original poster's other threads? Slightly hypocritical, no? I don't find this place to be ordinary. Far from it. QueenOnline, I find ordinary. All they have there are people who agree with everybody, everyone is super-saccharine nice to each other, but I find that Queenzone is more 'real': debates, discussions, arguments. It's all fun, as long as you have something of worth to contribute to the discussions, and I'm not talking about downloadable material here. |
Serry... 12.02.2006 02:06 |
Serry's is not a clown in circus and Serry's English is not real English as we all know - what kind of jokes are you waiting from me? Anyway, if you can't deal with what I'm on QZ - try this: link It works! Arlene left and I haven't seen Mike for a long time. |
