I e-mailed Artist Arena to ask why for some of the concerts the highest priced tickets are not available. Here is their response. ------------- Hello There were many of the highest priced tickets avaialable, however they sold out very quickly. Regards ArtistArena ------------- I don't believe that. I looked at Toronto the INSTANT they went on sale and there were no high priced tickets available. I think they are trying to create a false demand for tickets. |
tcheb 05.12.2005 14:31 |
I got 2 high priced tickets for Toronto. They sold out in a second though. I was on 3 computers and the second they were on, only on one of them I got a pair of tickets. I'll be sitting in row 15 :) Tcheb |
PieterMC 05.12.2005 14:32 |
Fair enough then. |
tcheb 05.12.2005 14:39 |
Also, the first about 10 rows are in the Gold and Platinum packages only... You can still be dead centre 1st row for 1200 US$ if you want. I'm a huge fan, but I'll settle for what I have :) 360 US$ is already a lot more than what I'm usually ready to pay for a gig. |
PieterMC 05.12.2005 14:39 |
I would be interested to know exactly how many $160 were available. |
tcheb 05.12.2005 14:40 |
Anyone else got tickets for Toronto? I wonder how many were available for the presale... |
tcheb 05.12.2005 14:41 |
it was 180 US$ per ticker (including shipping and convenience charges) |
TruePar 05.12.2005 15:10 |
How come it was $160? I thought the most expensive tickets were $119? I'm going to be getting Vancouver tickets and according to HOB and Ticketmaster, the most expensive tickets are $115 Canadian. Why do I have a feeling that it's going to be more expensive for Artist Arena? |

Crazy! This presale thingy seems really unothordox! I better get good seats! |
Sandys 05.12.2005 15:41 |
I have some doubts about the Vancouver concert and I hope you gays can help me: As I undestood, there's a pre-sale at artistarena but only platinum and gold VIP packages and the ticketmaster pre-sale will be available the next friday, am I right?.... At the Ticketmaster.ca they show the next numbers: CA$45 - CA$115, but they aren't available, until december 9. Have you already brought tickets? |
tcheb 05.12.2005 15:47 |
The Vancouver tickets will be available at ArtistArena at 2PM Pacific Time. |

What happened with the Miami concert? it is not on ticketmaster, anyone knows? |
PieterMC 05.12.2005 16:25 |
Miami has not gone on sale yet. |

Canada tickets went onsale this afternoon - 2pm PST. I logged on at 2:00pm exactly and got these seats: No.18 - 24 No.18 - 25 I take it that it means Row 18, seats 24/25? My other computer I was trying logged in 5 seconds later and it was at No.18 - 34. I then checked at 2:05pm and it was No. 24 - 7. The floor plan for the concert is Queen's floor plan, it doesn't list the row numbers or seats, so I have no idea where we are! |
BonesJones 05.12.2005 17:13 |
I went on right away, all higher priced tickets gone. Best tickets sec 118, row 19. you have to wonder |
The Stealer 05.12.2005 17:15 |
Vancouver- Floor Row 20, Seats 11, 12 101 USD plus fees---not too far from end of cat walk--we'll see where seats 11,12 are I think they are on the aisle which would not be bad. |
BonesJones 05.12.2005 17:38 |
Just want to say, I'm so happy they are coming, I would have sat in the rafters. See you in TO |
TruePar 05.12.2005 17:47 |
Yeah - should be good concerts in both TO and Vancouver. I saw them at Wembley (well, heard them...couldn't see them). Can't Wait! |
MercuryArts 05.12.2005 17:50 |
I wondered that myself. I paid $88.00 plus $13.00 in mark-ups for a total of $101.00 for my DC ticket. I am on the floor section 4. I paid $59.00 plus $12.00 mark-ups for a total of $71.00 per ticket for floor seats in Cleveland. Section 7. Not sure of the reasons for differnt prices in different markets. Maybe because DC is the nations capitol, & Cleveland is know as the "mistake by the lake"! :-P |
Sandys 05.12.2005 17:53 |
I got a ticket for Vancouver!!!! what it means: FLR (P1 reserved) 18-40???... Does anybody from mexico go to vancouver??? |
Garden Lodge 05.12.2005 18:09 |
Hey just tell me how on earth did you get ticket for Vancouver???? The presale is suppose to begin on the 6th!!! |
Sandys 05.12.2005 18:34 |
No!, it's today... it started at 2:00 pm (eastern time, I think..) You still can have a ticket: go to link, go to register and get a ticket. Are you going to the concert? |
TruePar 05.12.2005 18:46 |
GardenLodge - just sent you an email with the instructions. SandyS - I think it means row 18, seat 40. |
Sandys 05.12.2005 19:08 |
Do you know if in the event the people respect the row and seat?.. I mean I'm gonna jump all night... what for the seat?.... but now thinking... in the We Will Rock You Canada 82', the people didn't jump or anything like that.. |
TruePar 05.12.2005 19:15 |
All depends on the mood set by Queen. Been to lots of shows here in Vancouver, some concerts people stayed seated, some shows people were up and dancing all the show. We are a laid back bunch of people out here, but I *think* everyone on the floor will be on their feet! |
Garden Lodge 05.12.2005 22:26 |
TruePar wrote: GardenLodge - just sent you an email with the instructions. SandyS - I think it means row 18, seat 40.You're the man.........I really don''t know how I missed it!!! Row 22 seats 11 and 12........ By the way, I'm an American Express user and I really thought that their presale was going to offer really good seats but now I guess not eh? |

Garden Lodge 06.12.2005 00:11 |
Would you think that the other presales will offer better seats than the ones Artist arena did? |
TruePar 06.12.2005 01:13 |
I wouldn't *think* so. I was under the understanding that the pre-sale tickets through the Queen site would be the best of the crop offered to the public via HOB and Ticketmaster. |
ggo1 06.12.2005 10:27 |
I got CFLR Row 17 seats for Toronto. I kept trying for more but never got any better offer than the first two I was offered. Cant believe two rows in front were $80 more. Man that must suck. If I have done the calculations right, Im dead centre in front of the catwalk. Just not sure if thats front row of the catwalk or 3 rows back. Either way, I'm really pleased with the seats. In Vancouver, the first row in front of the catwalk is row 17 so Im hoping its exactly the same set up in Toronto. Did anyone get Centre Floor tickets before row 17? or is it just Left Floor and Right Floor before that? I just checked the Ticketmaster Presale using the AMEX Front of the line Pre sale which started today and the best floor seats I could find were row 22, but it was offering row 33 as well. They were selling some 2nd row seats at the side though, section 109, quite far from the stage but 2nd row so you'd get an excellent view. you have to have an Amex card to purchase though. |
tcheb 06.12.2005 11:00 |
I just hope that I'll be close to the centre. My seat numbers are 47 and 48. I hope that's not on the far right. I'd be pretty pissed off. |
The Real Wizard 06.12.2005 11:21 |
1 RFLR(P2 - Reserved) Does this mean "rear floor" ? In other words, I won't be seeing a thing? |

If the ticketmaster seating chart is anything to go by, then 47 and 48 is far right on the aisle. 48 seats on a row, seat 1 is on the left. At least on that side you are on Brians side of the stage and not the session players. Plus you have the catwalk to your left, so you'll still have a great view. I'm pretty sure Toronto will sell out, so if you don't like the tickets you have, buy some more and sell the ones you have on stubhub.com |

I don't have the actual tickets. In the confirmation order was said that I should receive the tickets 1 week before the event.... So I only have a receipt!! |
