Who is planning to go to the Philly show & does anyone know when they go on sale?? I thought is was Dec. 3rd but that wasn't the case. Is it this week or next? |
Lester Burnham 04.12.2005 23:27 |
I will most likely be going, as long as I can get good seats; I have no idea when the tickets go on sale, though. I've been checking virtually every day since they were announced, and it just goes from March 9th to the 23rd or something. |

MercuryArts 05.12.2005 01:34 |
I can;t wait for that show! In my own back yard! Time for some serious tailgating!!! Now they just have to go on sale. Are you all from the area? |
My Saloon 05.12.2005 02:21 |
I'm 10 minutes from there, tops. Can't wait!!! |
MercuryArts 05.12.2005 10:08 |
10 min? Are you in Center City? Del Co.? the N. East? I'm in West Chester. We need a pre concert hook up. |
chauncey 05.12.2005 16:58 |
I'll be there, coming from the burbs of Coatesville. I'll be enjoying the much shorter ride compared to the trip we took to the Meadowlands. |

trying to decide between the spectrum and nassau colliseum |

Anything within staggering distance? Let's talk! Your fellow Co-Commissioner of Queen Tailgating, Cindy |

At that point, I'll be living in Fairmount (right near the museum), although it's still quite a drive from there to the stadiums, probably about 10 or 15 minutes. |

Being its mid March, it could still be quite cold for tailgating, but across the street in the Philles baseball stadium, "Citizen's Bank Park" is a sports bar called Mc Fadden's. If we get in early enough we can take over the place. They are open 364 days a year. So as the date apporaches we'll set the plans in motion. |

MercuryArts 07.12.2005 15:28 |
I also just got sec 215 row 2 seats 13-16 to the tune of $554.00 !! OUCH!!! And they were the cheapest seats!!!!! |
Freddiettt 07.12.2005 15:34 |
im 215 row 4 (13-15) |
Freddiettt 07.12.2005 15:35 |
right behind you-;) do you know how the seat numbers go- is seat 1 in all rows closest to the stage? |
Freddiettt 07.12.2005 15:38 |
also 215 is Brians side. |
MercuryArts 07.12.2005 15:44 |
Which way the seats go I am not sure. No seating chart gives that out. Was your ticket $128.00 plus all the ad ons? |
Freddiettt 07.12.2005 15:55 |
125+13.00 per seat... it looks as though seats are moving slow....not as fast as the Jersey show...of course ticket prices were alot cheaper at Jersey.i paid 85 for 5th row from the cat walk. also right now you can get front row for 595 per seat. i guess once ticket master starts selling the cheaper seats they will start to move. if not, queen is in trouble. |
Ms. Bea Haven 07.12.2005 16:10 |
I got front row. I only wish it was in Sec 103...my lovely family bought me the Platinum package for Christmas...and my birthday...and next Christmas...and my next birthday...you get the drift. Hey - it's a once in a lifetime thing...and I'm short, and I never in a million years ever thought (without general admission) that I'd get a first row seat to see my boys (er, well, half of my boys - half is better than none!!!!) I'm happy. Don't forget - ticket sales may be slow becasue there's more than 2 concerts this time around - don't forget - last time, EVERYBODY was elbowing each other (online) to get tickets - we've got more elbow room this time around. Have a great day everybody! |
Freddiettt 07.12.2005 16:22 |
what sec 101. nice seats. my birthday is March 18th. happy B-day. |
fredrogbrijohn 07.12.2005 18:34 |
Sect 103 row 14. I wish we could figure out which way they number the seats. My husband's bday is the 18th and he's letting me go!!! |
Freddiettt 07.12.2005 18:49 |
i believe for floor seats its inner to outer. my B-Day is on the 18th also.:) |
fredrogbrijohn 07.12.2005 18:52 |
I hope you are right! We got seats 4-5-6! |
MercuryArts 07.12.2005 19:14 |
If the floor is the same as in NJ its outter to inner. I had seats 13 & 14. They were two seats in from the center isle. |
Deacons 1st Choice 07.12.2005 23:29 |
Anyone from the Philly show coming to MA? I hear hardly anything here about the upcoming Worcester show. It's going to be special...hope you can make it! |
Lester Burnham 08.12.2005 11:00 |
Anybody know what the presale password is for Philly? |
Lester Burnham 08.12.2005 11:27 |
Doesn't work :( Though I tried through Ticketmaster, so maybe that makes a difference? |

The Philly show is getting a strong buzz right now. It FINALLY being talked about on all the stations especially 102.9 WMGK. I called the afternoon drive DJ who has been on the philly airwaves for over 20 year, Andre' Gardner. we spoke about the tour & the last time Queen toured. Also told me his favorite Queen song was a little know obscure track from the Jazz album written by Brian which totally blows him away everytime he plays it. I was expecting him to say "Dead On Time", but he was talking about Leaving Home! How great is that!?! Andre' says it brings tears to his eyes everytime. Also, he thought Roger's side project in the mid 80's, The Cross was a great act & loves the song Shove It. I was quite surprised to hear that. |

Mercury Arts. You're in West Chester? So am I. Anyone have an extra ticket that they would like to sell? I'm a regular 21 yo guy. Not too obnoxious. I'm definitly good for some tailgating before the show. |
Ms. Bea Haven 10.12.2005 09:38 |
..tailgating - the Sixers are playing at the Center the same night as Queen is in the Spectrum - just so you all know. I hate Andre Gardner - he talks to friggin much. And even though MGK doesn't play the same songs more than once a day - they play the same songs EVERYDAY...I wish they'd change some things up. Classic rock - phooey! |
