They showed the Wembley gig for their pledge drive, and offered the CD and DVD for certain pledges, as well as the GH1 and 2 DVD for gifts of $200 or more.
Curious if this was done nationwide.
Oh, and thanks to all the friends who informed us on the phone.
"Hey, did you know Queen is on MPT right now?"
"Yeah, you're the eight caller! Now would you hang up so we can watch it until the next person calls."
All said with a smile. Kinda nice that they all thought of us. Apologies for not posting this as 'news';-)

You're in Dallas, hey let's throw a Queen party lol... j/k but I missed it, I've been checking out the pbs late night concerts recently too. On Sat. they had an old mo-town show on. They had the miracles without smokey robinson. What kind of BS is that. Anyway, I wish I would've checked it out last night. Even though like I said previously Wembley sucks.
Came on here, too. It was kinda funny hearing the PBS people trying to talk about Queen. "Yes..we lost Freddie Mercury in 1992.." Seems like all the people answering the phones were women in their seventies with dyed red hair.
Unfortunately it wasn't nationwide! I knew they were showing it a few weeks back, so I checked the site and checked if they were showing it in the east coast...Nothing!!
Connecticut gets no play. :(
This line in Maryland was precious:
"Freddie Mercury. What a great singer. Get this video (Wembley), and see the uncut performance with talented artists, such as Brian May and Roger Taylor."
Guess John wasn't one;-)
They really did their research.....

Yeah, all we got here is Queen For A Day. I guess they're OK, although they don't really resemble the band much, just their clothes.
A lot of tribute bands here! Beatles, ACDC, Tom Petty, you name it...
So maybe you know why Q doesn't like Texas anymore?
I was shocked to find out the tour isn't coming through Texas. Freddie does where a Dallas in the "One Vision" T-shirt and Anotehr one bites the dust was filmed in Dallas at Reunion arena (even though Brian and Roger said it was in Detroit during the dvd commentary on GVH 1).
