This goes out to all you die-hard collectors out there:
I am looking for bootlegs from cologne, but I am not a member of the hub as I do not have enough material to share. I own about 10 bootlegs, all common stuff. So I kindly ask for CDs from the following shows: sporthalle 1979 in it's entirety ( I have the edited version), sporthalle 1980, sporthalle 1982 and Muengersdorfer Stadion 1986. The best I can offer is cologne '74 - fantastic indeed and maybe the biggest treasure in my collection.
hope this is the right forum, as I am not a hub member as metioned. Thanks in advance.
There are actually three different versions of Cologne 79. The edited 1CD version, an almost complete version which misses only Sheer Heart Attack and then a complete version with Sheer Heart Attack included.

But I think there is only one recording source of this show, the "Save Me" LP is apparently from the lowest generation of tape or maybe from the master, but unfortunately it's incomplete. The "Live in Cologne" 1 cd bootleg is the worst sounding version and misses the most of all the versions. Then there is a tape source that is almost complete, only missing SHA. I haven't heard of a complete version of this show yet.
no,there are (at least) 2 different sources.
one is the common "live in cologne" 1 cd bootleg with the geisha cover.it is incomplete but a complete version exists.it is around exc- quality and compiled from different generation tapes.
then there is a second source with a bit rougher sound. quality around very good.this is the one with sha missing and it was used for the vinyl bootleg "don´t stop us live"
I have the "Live in Cologne" 1 cd bootleg and the "Save Me" LP and they are from the same source. The beginning of GDML is cut on both, the difference is that "Save Me" sounds way better and is more complete(includes the complete BR and Dreamer's Ball). "Live in Cologne" is not compiled from different generation tapes of the same source by the way. The "Don't stop us live" LP bootleg contains only 7 or 8 songs from the show as far as I know.

Thanks YV, I didn't know that this is enough. But what is flac, a compression like mp3 ?

And then there are the LP versions too...
I actually own one of those :P (Don't Stop Us Live, wrong marked as Düsseldorf 79.02.03) and I have the almost complete one for trade if someone is intrested.
