Does anyone think Brian May and Roger Taylor will or should retire once touring with Paul Rogers finishes?
I think the cherry has nearly gone, in my opinion.

No, I can't see them retiring. Why should they when they're still so good at what they do and they still bring joy to people?
It's true these guys are rich enough to never have to do a day's work again, but this is Brian and Roger we're talking about. Can you seriously imagine them sitting at home doing nothing?
Ofcourse they'll retire when the finish touring with Paul. But that's gonna be ages away. They'll finish this tour, do a new album, and go back out. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Yeah like in Freddies case, he had to stop touring because of his health but that didnt stop him from making music did it?
Same with the Brian n Roger there dedicated to music they wont retire for ages.
Brian May and Roger Taylor will retire when they are good and ready! If that old codger Sir Mick Jagger (LOL!) can still fling his bones on stage and people still want to see him along with Keith "ready for dead" Richards, why the hell not keep on going.
I'm just as old as Roger and I plan to keep on writing until "I bloody well die" (to quote a rather famous singer!)
Cheers,
David

Retire? Why? If they worked in a factory for 30 years then I would say hell yeah! But they're musicians who love what they do. It's not a case of making money. They've made their money a long time ago and royalties keep coming in. They do what they do because it comes from the heart and not from their pockets. Good luck Brian and Roger. You made a splash over here last weekend and from what I've been reading and hearing you guys did it with style, grace and you incorporated Freddie into the show that people are raving about. Good for you guys!

If I had the talent they do I would go on the stage with a zimmerframe if I had to. I wouldn't give up until I really needed to. I mean I bet Freddie would still be rocking every stadium (if they weren't being turned into ugly stupid football pitches), even though he said he didn't want to be an old rocker. But he probably would of stayed seeing as he loved it so much. Why should they retire? That's final and that's it then and the magic of Queen and the publicity will go down and more and more genarations won't discover their beautiful music. I say LONG LIVE QUEEN!

If they had wanted to retire... don't you think they would have done that after Freddie's death??
They enjoy doing this... and so do we!!
And indeed... speaking with Freddie:
I think they'll stay together and do this "untill we fucking die!"
And I hope they will be able to... and that they will....
Because:
QUEEN STILL ROCKS!!!
no matter what age they are ;)
Will you buy their music when they get into their 90s?

brian said he would never retire. in fact promised it. he even freely admits that he doesn't know how to retire...............................................................................................................................................................john however would be forced out of retirement if bri and rog did a tour with no one "replacing" freddie (apparently bpp is john deacon aside from the fact that deacon hates georgre michal lol) and bowie just showing up for bohemian rhapsody and under pressure. spike on piano. bri on the red special(we can't stoop as low as to say its just a giutar).rog on drums and lead vocals. deaky once again on the BASS!!!! this could boost deky into a solo career. well i probably just failed at trying not to create false hope. oh well!
No fucking way. I would rather listen to 50% QUEEN live than no Queen. Those fuckers should play till they drop fucking dead. I mean let's face it. Brian's guitar works miracle's: in the Hammer to Fall, Tear it Up, Flash live performace is a divine experiance. I could listen to it forever. Add Roger on top of that and you have a nuclear blast. Why fucking retire. What's your problem?
No Way
If Brian and Roger can play to packed audiences after nearly 20 years, AND they still enjoy it why retire ?
It is like any of us stopping our hobbies.
