name your most valuable queen item, the one thing that you wanted soooo bad, that you would have sold your kidneys on the black market. I have way too many things to name, but one of most valued things I have is my queen tour programs. I also wanted the mick rock "killer Queen" book so bad I would have sold my own grandmother...just kidding, I would have sold my mum. ;)
I met Brian and Roger in Vegas. In order to always have Queen with me, I had them sign both arms with a permanent marker, then had a tattoo artist go over their signatures so Id have them forever. I cant ever lose them no matter how many girlfriends I go through!
Yeah, thats what I value the most. Meeting them and having their names with me.
Or do you mean something of monetary value, instead of sentimental value?
I guess the other thing I value most, is the SetList for Dublin, the end of the Europe '05 Tour. My girlfriend at the time and I flew over to see them on tour, and at that show, we took home the actual setlist that was taped to the stage between where Brian stood and where the catwalk began.
If you have the current fanclub magazine, I believe there is a picture of us in Dublins front row that some fan sent in, that can prove we were right there to get the setlist for all the cynics out there (aside from pics we took, like in Belfast and Wembley.)
The picture Im thinking of (dont have mag with me atm) is prob around middle of magazine. The picture is from left side, elevated, of stage, at an angle. Youd know it was the picture I mean cuz I intentionally wore a bright yellow shirt that day, since it was Freddies fav color, and to stand out among black-shirt-wearing rock fans. My gf is right next to me in a white Queen shirt with blue sleeves/collar. We are right at the front by Brian. (sure beat my ticket at the far BACK of the crappy Wembley tent that was "reserved for Queen Fans")
It is printed from a computer, not handwritten like the old ones, obviously. Still has the black tape used to keep it on the stage. Im sure lots of fans have artifacts like this that only mean so much to them because they "were there". But its a cool piece of Queen anyway!!
I have acquired a photographer's case from Denis O'Regan (official photographer to Queen, among other muscians). This particular case was sat upon by Freddie in Budapest - Denis took a picture of such, which you can see, as well as pictures of the case as it is now, on my website at link
Anyhow, this is the same day that footage was videoed of Freddie and Brian rehearsing "Tavaszi Svel", the Hungarian folk song, on Freddie's hotel terrace in Budapest, as seen on the "Champions of the World" video.
I have the case insured for $9,500.
