That's basically what it is. Except I think it leans more towards fanfiction, and I believe it's associated with gay fanfiction (or so I believe, since I've only ever seen that word used with the "Harry and Draco" fanfics *shudders*)
My first thought was that it was on the guitarist...but then it was clear as I know the author of the topic is a writer of sorts.
Erm, I don't read fanfiction... my friends all dig it but I find the idea of fanfic just unappealing.
..also, what happened to the nasty queen site? didnt it have like queen slash on it?

I like fanfics (mainly anime ones), just not the slash types
And yes, that site did have some slash if I recall correctly
to me its like... oh go create your own characters or something. I dunno, i just dont appreciate it.
but then again i like doujinshi manga. go figure!

I like yuri of course (given that I am a guy :P )
I like artwork and doujinshi that have yuri themes.
Yaoi - I'd read it, or watch it, if I was bored and had nothing else to read. It doesn't really bother me, really. Dunno what the other guys would say about yaoi.
Btw. I was at an anime convention a couple weekends ago, which I should write about in my blog some time. "The 404's", a comedy improv group that normally perform at that convention (AnimeThon), normally have to deal with people in the audience shouting "yaoi! yaoi!", but at that convention, as evidenced by the video I downloaded long before the convention happened (the video being filmed at another con in Toronto earlier) and also that they asked the audience not to shout "Yaoi!" cos it made the guys very uncomfortable (go figure).
I was surprised no-one really got into doing that at the convention. Wonders, that is.
