Today was one of those days. I just needed something new for my collection. I've been thinking about the live CDs.. I wouldn't mind having the remastered Wembley set, or even Live Killers.
So I go to Best Buy and they don't have Wembley at the moment. Live Killers is priced at 24.99 so I pass on that. Like I'm gonna spend $25 on a CD I don't even want! On Fire was $14.99, so the $25 makes no sense.. the idiots..
So I decided to get Greatest Hits III for some reason. $14.99 for a disc I already have in Platinum Collection, plus it mostly sucks anyway.. but what the hell, now I've got all those teeny-tiny fan pics in the booklet to look at (not included in 'Platinum' booklet).
I also grabbed the Pretenders Greatest Hits DVD which is quite cool.
On the way home a classic rock station was playing Another One Bites The Dust, followed by Crazy Little Thing (2 for Tuesday). So I took that as a sign... of something.
With this purchase of GH3 I have spent $1318.60 on Queen stuff since March of 2002.
PS- sweden man, I looked for Innuendo in case you still don't have it. No luck at Best Buy West. I was surprised how many catalog titles they did have though.. Queen, Queen II, The Game, AKOM and others.
That's cool Erin! Does your last name start with a C and double as a religious choice?
hehe
About radio play.. I actually hardly ever listen to the radio anymore. Only a couple decent stations left here and it's always either Mellencamp or Elton John whenever I turn it on. Today was rare for me but I can't really compare it to anything :-P

That used to be my last name anyway..:-)
I listen to the local rock station, but there is hardly any variety. The classic rock station, as well, just plays mainly the same things over and over. I'm from the south and all, but that doesn't mean I wanna hear Skynyrd repeatedly...:-S

There's a contest of "When you hear Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen on the radio, if you call in and are the 6th caller, you win a new big ass Chevy truck"
And they have block party now (three songs each), and they play FOUR Queen songs when it's Queen's turn. They have even been announcing which album the Queen songs are from (they only tell which tracks are from what albums for Queen, no one else!).. and Radio GaGa is on their advertisement commercials... they also have played Stone Cold Crazy!
how lucky can you be?
what are some of the others it played?
