I gave it another read-through, and there's *nothing* that says Nigeria.
Though I understand you might have meant to say it was *like* a scam originating from Nigeria. Except the scam originated from London, England.
Inu, the reason I said Nigerian is that some people who were arrested for this all came from the same place, they also used these on EBAY, this is a following correct email
"Am Mr.Csawere Benjamin am currently in holland for a
conference that will last for 4 weeks and i saw your item on ebay and i can see it,s so nice and presentable
so i decided to buy it with for somebody dearly to me for his birthday
coming up next week so i will like to know how much it will cost me to
purchase both the item and the shippment to Nigeria (postage with insurance)plz reply asap cos am ready to pay for
it as soon as i get the needed
info i will be using Paypal as form of payment.
here is his shippment information below
Name..................A.sola
Address............55 yaya abatan str ijaiye ogba
City.............agege
State.............lagos
Country.................nigeria
Get back to me with your full name and PAYPAL address so that i can
make the payment asap."
Now you dont think twice, here is what goes on..
1. He pays on PayPal.
2. You withdraw cash, thinking its cleared.
3. You send phone off to Nigeria.
4. PayPal contact you saying payment has been suspended because of a stolen credit card, and deduct the amount from your PayPal account.
5. You lose the phone and the cash
I actually have about 5 different emails with the same basic email, same address, but different reasons why they want the item, duaghter's marriage, cousins graduation and on.
