Story of my life . . . After watching Live 8 on the web yesterday, I arrived on the site in London today. Took pics of the littered grounds, and the stage from a distance. The big LONDON sign and the Live 8 guitars are still flanking each side of the stage (at 12:00 pm-ish GMT) The Who and Pink Floyd kicked ass here but a few hours before I arrived. And I gotta admit . . . Robbie Williams entertained me. I cracked up when I saw the short mic, but I digress . . .
The real point of this is, I asked a guy working security (keeping people like me from trying to get in the gate to take a better picture) at Hyde Park today if he knew where the Ticketmaster box office would be for the Queen gig. He was standing at Gate 14, which is near Speakers Corner (that was a trip, but not for discussion here.) He said the box office was at Gate 1 in the opposite direction toward where the Live 8 stage is. I am assuming this guy knows what he is talking about . . . a few of us who want to do the meetup need to get our tix for the gig, so I thought I'd share the latest.
He was referring to box office which stands there since Wireless festival (if you would be headed for The Dell you would see it). Unless someone will come up with exact information evening walk to Hyde Park will hopefully clear this out. I was also this morning in Hyde Park and if you did a tour around you would notice that X4 (ambulance gate) had door opened so you could get in (no one watching it). From there you would just take left and voila - the stage would be in front of you. I did a small tour and did walk next to the stage and did some photos without any problems (and I could see few other people doing the same thing).
sorry to go off topic QZers
Ian: Foolishly left phone rented for UK trip on my bed at home. I don't have your email address on this computer . . . I thought I did. Please email me and I'll send you the number of the phone I'm using as a backup. Cheers!!

By the way, where excactly that stage will be, near Speakers Corner?
Probably yes. I believe the same setup as for previous gigs will be used (Wireless and Live8) here too. As far as I can see they all use the same "frame" for the stage so I doubt something will change in respect to that as same infrastructure will probably be used then for Q+PR and REM next night (with specifics for each stage).
