Hey folks, I have coupple of questions: - Are tickets still availeble? - If...from where I could order them? - Will they send those tickets abroad or perhaps I have to pick up them? ...and finally, how far from Frankfurt Cologne is? |
DocMay 11.06.2005 13:48 |
You can order here tickets for the cologne gig. link |

LOL! Yes, I know it's wrong German. It's an inside joke, that started off in wrong German and we decided to keep it like that. It just sounds better ;-) It comes from the times that me and Ducksoup (almost) got mollested by German security guards because we brought a camera to the show... Maybe, in Cologne you can see it with your own eyes! (But let's hope not!!!) Anybody else want a 'Wo ist das Kameraaaaahhhh' t-shirt?? (Barbara??? ;-) |
The Mir@cle 14.06.2005 04:19 |
Der, die oder das... Es soll mir ein wurst sein ;-) |
YourValentine 14.06.2005 04:56 |
Thanks for the offer, Jeroen but I rather would not draw any attention :) To answer Blue Rock's question: Cologne is roughly 230 km from Frankfurt/Main. If you arrive in Frankfurt/Hahn airport, it's even closer but there are only transfer buses from Hahn to Frankfurt and a couple of other cities. |
Joma 14.06.2005 10:15 |

Getting the device inside is not the problem... Using it during the gig turned out to be a lot more difficult! ;-) |
Jjeroen 30.06.2005 02:15 |
I found it time to start boosting this one again! ;-) Any thoughts on a meetingpoint yet? Anyone familiar in the surrounding area of the stadium?? Barbara maybe? |
Silvia_71 30.06.2005 03:14 |
Yes, anyone familiar in the surrounding area of the stadium?? I booked a room at the Deutz hostel. Anybody going there? What about the band? where are they going to stay? Anybody from Italy? |

I will be at the Ibis hotel Cologne (near the main train station in collogne... Also on the back of the trainstation there is the opera building there hangs a big billboard of the WWRY musical. and there is the Doom in Cologne which is also aposite the main trainstation and beside that there is kolnticket office. |
Jjeroen 30.06.2005 05:10 |
Hmmm... Does the ticketservice office have a bar? ;-))) |
Silvia_71 30.06.2005 05:23 |
Anybody going to see the musical? Can somebody kindly post a link to a clear map of Cologne? Which is the most luxury hotel of the city? :-))) |
Mr. Scully 30.06.2005 06:57 |
Any idea about the best hotel in the city? (where the band could stay) Any idea about the cheapest hostel in the city? (where we could stay) :-) |
deleted user 30.06.2005 07:07 |
jeroen wrote: Hmmm... Does the ticketservice office have a bar? ;-)))There is a bar just oposite the ticketservice, I believe it's also an hotel... I don't know the name of it. There must be a lot of bars near the ticket master as it is also near the Doom and quite in the center of Cologne. Actualy Cologne is a very organised city.... I am not from Cologne neither Germany in it all. I went there to take a look, about a month. People there do help, just have a little accent. And it wasn't to dificult to find the location of the Rhein Energie Stadium About the musical I've heard that they won't play the 6 July and often the musical is fully booked. You need to order tickets long before that. They have already prolonged to the 31/12/2005 |
deleted user 30.06.2005 07:12 |
I stay at the Ibis, for a single room 1 night I only pay 86 Euros There is I believe a Touriste information desk not far of the main trainstation of Cologne, they can give you names of hotels, I am not sure if they can give you the price. |
Silvia_71 30.06.2005 07:17 |
Mr. Scully wrote: Any idea about the cheapest hostel in the city? (where we could stay):-)Look here: link Few days ago, Deutz had just single (at 39,50 euros) and double rooms; Riehl had places in 4 and 6 rooms. They all have shower and WC in the room. They are both near the train station and 20 minutes far from the stadium. They answered all my questions very quickly and kindly. Of course, you need an international youth card... Mr. Scully wrote: Any idea about the best hotel in the city? (where the band could stay):-)I quote! |
Fenderek 30.06.2005 07:47 |
I'm not going to be there... Fuck, fuck, fuck... Bloody dentists- why is it so expensive...? |
Mr. Scully 30.06.2005 08:25 |
"I only pay 86 Euros" Only 86 euros? Bad joke :-) This is Czech Republic, my friend, I'm not a rich EU citizen ;-) I want something for 15 euros ;-) If we found accomodation in Munich for that, don't tell me there are no cheap hostels in Cologne :-) |

Silvia_71 wrote: Anybody going to see the musical? Can somebody kindly post a link to a clear map of Cologne? Which is the most luxury hotel of the city? :-)))Hi - I am from cologne, (and will of course be at the show, too) and hope all of you will enjoy the time in our beautiful city !!! The cast of the musical will join the guys on stage. To get tickets for the musical itself is difficult, because it is sold out in advance for weeks and is the most successful musical ever in germany. For a map go to link and search the small button 'Stadtplan' (above right). Then you can type in a street name and it will show you the map of this city-region. The stadium for example is located at the big 'Aachener Strasse', but as it is very long, better type in 'Olympiaweg'. You can zoom in and out of the map so you can see the way from the stadium to the inner city. To have a look at the old town with its shops and bars and clubs and so on, it's best to type 'Alter Markt' - then you get an overview of the old town and the shopping streets, the main station, the cathedral and other interesting stuff. We have several luxurious hotels here, including a Hilton, a Maritim, an Excelsior, and the famous very old Dom Hotel right beside the cathedral. The band are most likely to stay at the Hyatt on the other side of the rhine river, as Bri and Rog stayed there during the castings for WWRY, and it offers the best view of the famous skyline. If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask ! |
Silvia_71 30.06.2005 12:25 |
THANK YOU REGOR! ;-))) |

I was going to do that first but the campings in cologne are quite far from the Rhein Engergy Stadium and the city center. Some friend of me are planning to have a sleep on the banches of the train station... I can not see myself doing that. Aldough I did it before. The thing is that I might go to Rock Werchter here in Belgium (I got some free enterence passes) and that mean sleeping in the mud... So I am not tempted to floor activities after that. |
YourValentine 30.06.2005 13:02 |
'I'm not going to be there... Fuck, fuck, fuck... Bloody dentists- why is it so expensive...?' Fenderek, it may not be so expensive as you think. A return flight from London Stansted July 6th/July 7th with Ryan Air costs 62 GBP total and a ticket less than 60 euros, maybe even much less because it's not sold out at all and the ticket touts will sell them cheaper. We could pick you up at the airport (touch down is 1:10), take you back next day (start is 6:20 PM), so you only need flight, ticket and transport London - Stansted. Think about it. |
Fenderek 01.07.2005 12:27 |
I AM thinking about it, but... I'm really under my budget- this is sth that is going to be alright in 2-3 weeks time but ain't now... Will tell ya def on Monday and THANKS for the nice offer! :) |
