I received a general email from Northwest Airlines about travel packages. Included was some info for a Cleveland trip, but the last date was in June. I went to their "contact us" and gave them the dates of the Breakthru Convention, and gave them the Breakthru Convention link, so maybe they will act on this.
"I received your email about upcoming deals to Cleveland and your list of
interesting sites to see. In August 19 - 21, 2005 there is going to be a Queen
Convention in Cleveland. Queen is the U.K. rock band that was together for 21
years. Their lead vocalist, Freddie Mercury, died in 1991, but Queen's fan base
continues. There are numerous Queen websites of dedicated fans all around
the world. This, I believe, is the only Queen Convention that will be held in the
U.S. this year. The conventions weblink is: link
Hopefully, you will look over the convention details and put some hotel/flight
packages together which would include the U.S. and our international friends.
Thank you for your kind attention to my request."
Below is NWAs link to its current Cleveland package which includes a number of tourist sites. link
As Freddie always used to say...
"If I´m going to die in an airline incident, it should be on board of a Northwestern DC10... on my way to good ol´Cleveland!" :-)
