1.Death On Two Legs
Maybe.
2.Dragon Attack
What? No.
3.princes of the universe
Agreed.
4.don't try so hard
Maybe, but there was no potential with 'Innuendo', 'Slightly Mad', 'Headlong', 'Days Of Our Lives', and 'The Show Must Go On'.
5.take my breath away
Hahahahaha no.
6.love of my life (studio version)
Possibly.
7.let me entertain you
Agreed.
8.39
What are you smoking?
9.teo toriatte
Only in Japan; it wouldn't make much sense to release it in any other territory.
Death On Two Legs, '39 and Get Down Make Love got airplay here in the US, so back then I was always unsure if they were actual singles somewhere or not. Love Of My Life should have been too...it's ridiculous that isn't on the compilations. And of course Princes Of The Universe was a single (at least here in the US) because I have it :)
Tie Your Mother Down also got airplay and I especially can't figure out why that wasn't released as a single (I guess it was in some countries). They only had one single off A Day At The Races to begin with...why didn't the record company push for a second one?!?
Tie Your Mother Down was a single in the UK, but charted *one place* too low to be on GH1 (as Martin Prince would say, "highly dubious")
Once Love of my Life became so established as a live favourite I reckon they should have released the album version as a single, possibly with a new added "ohhh.... yea-ea-eah" ending to tie in with the live version.
