I was reading on queenconcerts.com (great site, by the way, Mr Scully) something about there being no known Opposition set list, and I remembered this one from the book "Queen The Early Years", so I thought this might be interesting....
1. You Don't Know
2. Going To A Go Go
3. Meeting Over Yonder
4. Midnight Hour
5. Heatwave
6. Knock On Wood
7. Hold On I'm Coming
8. Something You Got
9. See Saw
10. Something About You
11. I'll Be Doggone
12. Cant Help Myself
13. Dancing In The Street
14. Headline News
15. Emergency 999
16. It's Growing
17. Ride Your Pony
18. Land Of 1,000 Dances
19. Key To Love
The date of the concert is not said, unfortunately......they were definitely big on soul covers, anyway......:D
Sounds to me like they were something of a Mod band - influenced by Tamala Motwen sounds - int he same way that The High Numbers (later to be known as The Who) were.
Those groovy sounds clearly stuck with John right through to The Game.....
