I know in advance this post doesn't really belong in this particular forum, but since the FLAC files I want to burn are the Q+PR ones made available here, I think it counts.
What program(s) can I use to burn audio CD's from FLAC files, especially with no silence in-between the tracks?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I use Nero Ultra Edition, but you need the flac plug-in which comes with Flac Frontend. Once you have installed the plug-in, you can use Nero to burn the cd. I hope it helps!
what I do is convert the files with the FLAC frontend into WAVE format. Then import them in Nero 6 burning-rom, keep the first track at 2 seconds silence, select the rest , go to properties and set the silence at 0 (zero) seconds.
Then burn! You'll get a perfect concert on CD without any breaks/silences.
Using The Plugins Nero Burning ROM version 5.5.9.0 or higher is required for all plugins.
For Nero version 5, unzip the plugin DLL into "...\Ahead\Shared\AudioPlugins" directory.
For Nero version 6, unzip the plugin DLL into "\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins" directory.
The first two letters of the plugin DLL name must be "nx" in lower case, otherwise it won't be recognized by Nero Burning ROM.
If you have done this you can just drag and drop FLAC files into Nero and then burn your compilation.

That's exactly what I do. Can't avoid the 2 second break on the first track though.
You get a perfect concert as you say....warts and all depending on whether it's mp3 or flac/shn.
