Can't Get Enough (Firenze 07/04/2005) Guitar Solo (Firenze 07/04/2005) Reaching Out / Tie Your Mother Down (Firenze 07/04/2005) Another duplicate already |
DragonOnMyBack 11.04.2005 08:54 |
And Feel Like Makin' Love from the Barcelona concert. That's 3 from Barcelona and Florance and 0 from Milan. |
Fenderek 11.04.2005 08:54 |
So from the gig that was really unusual (i.e. Hammer sang in duet by Bri and Rog) we got the stuff that was USUAL. How fuckin' great... And how is that suppose to stop bootlegers...? PS Where's Milan...? |
DragonOnMyBack 11.04.2005 08:59 |
My guess is we won't see anything from Milan. They did say it would be 2 from each show. My guess is that something may have gone wrong in Milan with the recording so they have given us an extra track from Barcelona and Florence to make up for the 2 we are missing from Milan. |
FILIPETSA 11.04.2005 10:48 |
My guess is : they do what the fu***ck they want! All we can do is eat what they throw at us. Oh well...better than nothing i say. |
Hitman 11.04.2005 10:55 |
it's not professional. |

Taken from the QOL forum... fairydandy wrote: Can you also clear up this charity issue G? Are the proceeds of these tracks going to charity, or is it just the proceeds from the blank cd's? administrator: The proceeds from the CDs goes to the MPT. |

Hmm..:-p |
YourValentine 11.04.2005 22:19 |
This is the advert on QOL: Queen + Paul Rodgers Live Tour Downloads After each show the band will be making certain live tracks available for download exclusively on Queen Online. You can burn these tracks onto one special packaged blank Q+PR CD that is available to buy here on the Queen Online web shop. The idea is that once you have the disc you can then purchase the live tracks, arrange and burn them to your exclusive CD, and thus create your very own Queen + Paul Rodgers live album! All profits after production go to The Mercury Phoenix Trust – ‘Fight Aids Worldwide’. This is more than misleading fans into believing that the profit from the downloaded tracks is also donated for the MPT. Shameful. |

It should be the other way round: more people will buy the tracks than will the CD, and QP know it. Has anyone actually bought the blank CD? Does QP really need to earn *even more* money? |

Has anyone actually bought the blank CD?Well, actually I tried, but they don't accept my VISA ELECTRON... :-((( Does QP really need to earn *even more* money?Nooooo.... |

trustno1: Has anyone actually bought the blank CD? Yes - I have, ages ago. Both the CD and the Brian May coin, but I do not know anyone who has receieved either yet. |
DragonOnMyBack 12.04.2005 13:04 |
I sent an email to the queenonline shop people to see what was happening with my Tour CD-R order and got the response that they had not received the CDs from their suppliers yet. That was the latest info as of Thursday last week. |
Hank H. 12.04.2005 13:46 |
Maybe the administrator is wrong/unable to give an exact answer? The whole idea to buy a blank CD from QOL is really strange... |
Daz85 12.04.2005 15:44 |
The cd-r is printed with artwork, plus a booklet etc. |
John S Stuart 12.04.2005 17:14 |
Darren Robins: The cd-r is printed with artwork, plus a booklet etc. Let's face it - this CD-R is a rip-off. Like most people I know, I buy CD-R's in spindles of 100 for about £10.00 per pack. That = 10p per disc - and even THEN both the retailer AND the manufacturer are STILL making a profit! The only reason I bought a "special" Queen version (at the same price as 50 CD-R's) - was for both the especially printed disc and the cover artwork/booklet. I thought that to have a special souvineer edition of the Queen On-line downloads would be a "sexy" item to own. (And to be honest - I really do not mind this at all). What I REALLY object to is - that by my calulations (unless I burn the tracks as MP3's) - I will need between 3 - 5 of these discs to complete the set. |

Looks like the next batch of downloads will be along shortly : These Are The Days Of Our Lives (Pesaro) We Will Rock You (Pesaro) The Show Must Go On (Basel) No duplicates this time.... |
proton 14.04.2005 03:26 |
posted yesterday, but still nothing updated on the site.... |
Benn 14.04.2005 04:58 |
Why complain about duplicates? You'll notice that the two versions of Can't Get Enough are vastly different - ie, hardly any guitar is audible in the forst version, where as the second version has LOTS of guitar audible. |
Fenderek 14.04.2005 05:23 |
Benn wrote: Why complain about duplicates?Exactly! Don't bloody buy them if you don't want to- at the end of the day I'm sure every song will be represented in downloads. I wouldn't mind thgem releasing even four versions of each track! |
DragonOnMyBack 14.04.2005 05:48 |
I was not complaining about duplicates. I was just stating a fact that the next 3 tracks are all songs from the setlist that we have not got yet. I agree that it is good to get different multiple versions of the songs. Although I hope it doesn't mean we will miss out on getting some songs entirely. Ie. I hope they give us a version of Seagull and Little Bit of Love at some point which currently appear to have been dropped from recent setlist. |
DragonOnMyBack 14.04.2005 11:43 |
The latest downloads from Pesaro and Basel are now on the download site. Very good they sound too. |
[ Wybren™ ] 14.04.2005 17:34 |
I have paid for two downloads and the site said I can download the song up to three times on different computers, but how to acces the download part of the site again (the page where you came when you bought them)? Edit: The only way I found was to buy another song:-S I Want To Break Free is great, and I like Reaching Out but TYMD seems not recorded well. |

Hope this helps: When you're on the Europe Live page click on the "Your Downloads/Enter Pin Code" link ,which is near the upper left corner. When you enter your e-mail address and password (or your pin code if you received one instead), you're taken to your download page. |
