I honestly can't see Elton John running around the stage to Tie Your Mother Down or the fast part of Bo Rhap. And I can't see George Michael doing it either. reading some of these are interesting... I noticed that Freddie's illness is on many people's "worst" lists. Althought it was terrible for Freddie and the band, it was an amazing contribution to the world at a time when AIDS didn't seem like a reality. It opened people's eyes. Made them say "hey, if Freddie Mercury has AIDS... maybe I caould end up with it to. Maybe I should get tested." When celebrities get illnesses it suddenly seems real and makes people think. It's certainly terrible that our lovely Freddie had to die, but I'm glad he went out in a way that helped the world become aware. |

I want to give my opinion about Brian May solos. Brian May doesn't need to show that he's a virtuoso by shredding! I LOVE most of the Brighton Rock solos (there are few where he has no inspiration, but no one is perfect). He does good work in soiling in the pentatonic scales! Sometimes you have to be a guitarist to understand how good he is. When I saw Brighton Rock at Wembley, I thought it was boring! Now I just LOVE and I can listen to it countless times! The other solos and his guitar work in the other song is just great! He plays with so emotion! Few guitarists can make the guitar talk and cry! Brian May can do it! Plus, the harmonies! He is the god of the harmonies! C'mon! Sometimes he puts 30 tracks of guitars in the songs! Great! That's one of the reasons why guys like Satriani, Vai and Malmsteen have see him as great influence!
