Whose going to be watching them this Sunday night? We actually had some good band come out last year and I'm actually looking forward to the live performances. It's about time!
I'll be watching it for Gwen Stefani (she is performing, nominated and No Doubt are as well - fingers crossed!!), Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, and the Killers. I'm excited to watch it.
I've heard that the Cadillac Escalades being used for the Grammys are gonna be sold to regular consumers as a Grammy package with all the usual bling bling- imagine the smell of a celebrity ass on the seats...

I thought it was only her... at least that's what all the promo ads say. I think she's only going to be part of a medly along with Black Eyed Peas, Eve, Los Lonely Boys, Maroon5 and Franz Ferdinand.

Totally agree.
I have all my hopes up for Green Day, but chances are that they won't win because the Grammys have always overlooked rock and rather focus on adult contemporary, easy listening, blues, and R&B.
I mean, these are the same people who gave Jethro Tull a Grammy for best METAL band when they were running against Metallica.

Screw 'Free Bird' and Lynard Skynyrd. Since it's Led Zeppelin the one who is receiving an honorary award, they should have artists perform a Led Zep medley. It'd be awesome if Gwen Stefani could perform 'D'yer Mak'er'.

I feel like this while rap mainstream trend will eventually die in the same way that disco did in the 70s.
There's some good rap/hip-hop out there, but it's very very few from all of it.
