Markillo 08.02.2005 10:16 |
queen are these guys?? Brian, Roger, spike, scott sotto, neil murray, maybe it´s a better band. |
DragonOnMyBack 08.02.2005 10:18 |
Apparently he was in the WWRY Las Vegas Band. There was a bassist called Danny Miranda who was in the Blue Oyster Cult and Pyramid. Search for the name on the web. I assume its the same person. |
Srburns 08.02.2005 10:20 |
Hi , well any help on information on this bass player would be helpful |
The Mir@cle 08.02.2005 10:25 |
We've guessed a lot, but no Danny Miranda. You can find info here: link link |
Hankster 08.02.2005 10:34 |

Mr. Scully 08.02.2005 10:38 |
I'm quite happy about the lineup. Never heard about this bassist before but people say he's good so... Thank god there are no backing singers. |
Voice of Reason 2018 08.02.2005 10:41 |
Well there we go!!! |
We Are The Champions 08.02.2005 10:47 |
So there we have it at last! Never heard of him but have heard of BOC. Also, glad there are no Fabba Girls as back up. |
Daveboy35 08.02.2005 10:50 |

Can't wait for tour now i which may came after february then i wouldn't have to wait so long LOL |

It was all speculation anyway until an official announcement was made. The guessing is now over so we can all look forward to the tour with great excitment. |

I supose queen wouldn´t put somebody with out the sufficient talent to play bass. I supose he must be very good. |
Srburns 08.02.2005 12:11 |
I would like to see if Roger is able to play 2 hours of concert, with out a second drum kit |
Voice of Reason 2018 08.02.2005 12:23 |
LOL! |
seanyboy 08.02.2005 12:36 |
well i am glad to hear that spike will be on the band as i can almost guarantee hearing many of the major hits of queen :D (radio ga ga, kind of magic, i want to break free etc..) :d |
We Are The Champions 08.02.2005 12:40 |
Lehon wrote: I would like to see if Roger is able to play 2 hours of concert, with out a second drum kitI'm sure Roger is more than capable of playing for more than 2 hours. By the time they get to the UK they'll be well played in! They'll be on top form for this tour without doubt. Several weeks rehearsals will "blow away any cobwebs". I can't understand why people are questioning his ability. He may be 56 this year but so what. He's a drummer/musician and rock'n'roll is his life. Look at Charlie Watts.....he's sixty + and still touring with the Stones! |

Yeah, Roger will be in top form on upcoming tour. Music is his life and playing live is something what every musician really likes. His capasity is huge... take care Roggie, I'm waiting! |

Even without Freddie this tour will rock!! |
The Real Wizard 08.02.2005 15:19 |
"Spike Edney: keyboards" That's the best news I've heard all week. Let's hope this is true, and not keyboards/vocals. |
seanyboy 08.02.2005 19:41 |
yea lets face it this will be their finest performances as solo yet! After hearing all right now at the awards a while back there seems to be no rust on brian or roger and the same with we will rock you. I even liked the small guitar riffs during the drumming of we will rock you Lets put it to rest..... This is no overnight rehersal it will be queen as best as they can be! |
seanyboy 08.02.2005 19:42 |
Just a note i forgot to add.... I can see spike having all his keyboards tuned finally to recreate some original queen sounds (not like some crappy versions i have heard him play hehe) |
Joma 08.02.2005 19:54 |
It's all great news!!! I wonder if Roger sings as much as he used to when on tour with Freddie.... |
akindofmagic 08.02.2005 21:22 |
I don't want to be naif, but i think they picked a non-related Queen bassist(Barnacle,Murray and even Palladino) to let the door open to a future Deacy rejoin! |
Joma 08.02.2005 21:45 |

Deacons 1st Choice 08.02.2005 23:21 |
No he won't.... He'll just be in the audience enjoying the shows with us incognito! |
teddybear 09.02.2005 17:15 |
I am not convinced there won't be some backing singers though - maybe they have just not announced that part? I hope there aren't, but I would not be surprised if they do show up? |
JDL2nd 09.02.2005 17:24 |
On some sites they say that Brian and Roger will not sing. This would be a bad thing. They must sing. I want to hear I'm in love with my car and Sleeping on the sidewalk. I think the band is ok. Not too many musicians on stage but enough !! I think it will sound great !!! I have tickets for Antwerpen :D. |
Logan Place 09.02.2005 17:58 |
Hi! I'm new and I come from Italy. I will go to the Queen concert in April the 7, in Florence but.... I didn't know that John Deacon won't be there....... Can you explain me the reason? |
Deacons 1st Choice 09.02.2005 20:46 |
Hello there Logan Place... More then happy to tell you why John is not involved in this "Queen" Tour.... He is retired form the active stage life. His focus now is mostly on his family, and enjoying the remaining years of his life. He's a smart chap....as he does'nt HAVE to do anything now. His brilliant business sense saw to that! A pity for the Fans, yes, but after all he has already given us...i think it is fair to say he deserves some time to himself now. He is dearly missed indeed....but always know that somewhere out there in the mysterious shadows, he is always aware and watching with great interest! ( if i could put a smiley face here now i would!!) |

I really got tired of those jazz, but I'm still fine you guys :-P Logan Place, stavo per andare al concerto di Firenze, ma ho scelto Roma perchè in nave è + vicina! prepariamoci! |

His brilliant business sense saw to that!I don't know why but, after all, I expected that John would have reacted so one day or another. He has always been the most bashful among the components of the Band, from my point of view. One could clearly understand that the fame and the notoriety have been quite "tight" for him, in a certain way.... or so it seemed to me! Or perhaps, is he the most coherent? Mmmm....... FairyKing, di sicuro sentiremo della buona musica ma qualcosa mi dice che torneremo a casa un po' delusi...... |

Joma wrote: I wonder if Roger sings as much as he used to when on tour with Freddie....IMHO his vocals, more characteristic than Bri's, were unforgettable and very important elements of each Queen concert. I hope he'll sing as much as usuall during upcoming tour (if he'll be able of course)! |
MercuryArts 12.02.2005 11:43 |
Are they going to have the female back -up singers like Brian had on his solo tours or any of the mini Queen sets in years past? |
