No, seriously, Freddie was indeed on top that night. Somebody To Love is especially mindblowing. This version of this song has been regarded as one of the best Queen performances ever by many many fans.
Best thing about STL was half way through the intorduction one of the crowd shout "get on with it" (or something like that).
I suppose that person just didn't appreciate it.
Fred's voice was not in top form that night, so no. And the "Somebody to Love" isn't even the best version of that song we have on DVD - the version on We Will Rock You is definately better. Although I don't know what kind of edits that version received that may disqualify it.

Roger's voice is deffinetly better on the WWRY DVD.
And one thing that pisses me off. When Roger does his little "Can, anybody find me............." You can quite clearly see Brian sings the same line but afterwards. However Brian's mic is bascily turned off in the mix & you can't hear him.
