well ive got a strange feeling the next dvd will be the new queen/rogers tour, while the whole thing is still fresh in peoples minds i reckon it'll be xmas 2005!
if they do release a real! queen dvd this year i hope it aint rock in rio the sound quality and the camera angles etc are shockingly bad! if brian and roger think that rio is a great gig worthy of a dvd release imo its more to do with the size of the crowd than the quality of the show, also the dvd footage prob wont be that much better than the blurred grainy shit off the vhs version, lol....
oh i forgot to mention,, the possible delay of the greatest flix3 dvd could be due to the fact that brian and roger could be putting extra tracks on it from themselves and paul rogers or without rogers???? oooooo now theres a thought lol, most on here now are prob foaming with temper at just the idea,,lol
It would be a good idea to consider a pattern at this point.
The band - or Queen Productions, rather - have been releasing live shows backwards. First came the tribute concert from 1992, then Wembley (1986), and recently Milton Keynes (1982). It can only be logically assumed that a 1979 show will be next (not 1981, as we already have We Will Rock You, and the set list from many of the 1981 shows are too similar to Milton Keynes, and none of the 1980 shows were filmed), most likely Hammersmith Odeon, as it was filmed and is fairly well known.
After that will probably be a 1977 show, either Houston (if it exists in complete form, which I've been told it doesn't) or Earls Court; then Hammersmith '75, and most probably they will finish it up with the Rainbow '74.
The process will most likely then repeat: Budapest '86, then a show from '85 (probably Rio or a Japanese show), then an '81 show, probably from South America, followed by another '79 show, then a '77, '76, and maybe another '75, if one exists.
The point is that the band are going back in time with live shows, so they're not going to jump around from '82 to '75 and back to wherever - it's reverse chronology.
Earl's Court would be interesting. I'd like to see the Rainbow gig too in 75 but Now I'm Here is so slow I feel like jumping through the screen and shaking them a bit and going "come on lads, christ sake, this is a fast one!"
Just imagine how long Love of My Life would take!
