Every now and then an old song gets a new life when a famous actual artist performs it (American Pie, I Love Rock'n'Roll, Another Brick In The Wall...).
Which Queen song could become a hit in your opinion? It can be a remake in any style. Many songs from the Queen Dance Traxx album, for example, were radio hits around Europe. Sarah Brightman had a minor hit with Who Want To Live Forever.
My personal favourite would be Don't Stop Me Now by some pop artist. The song wasn't as big for Queen as it would have deserved to be. Maybe some of today's stars could rise it to the top?
There are some songs I think should be left alone. Such songs are Queen masterpieces like Bohemina Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Innuendo and The Show Must Go On. This still leaaves us with a huge amount of great songs that aren't very well known to the big audience.

a good country singer , could easily make a big hit out of Save Me , someone like Brad Paisley or Kenny Chesney
lyrics fit , and steel guitar for the solo !
Actually, i think '39 could be a country hit. Maybe the words would make that difficult, though. A little too much for people to "get it."
"Need Your Loving Tonight" could possibily be a pit for some generic pop group.
There's a spanish tribute where i like a couple of sengs a lot, Some day one day played by Soda Stereo (from Argentina) is a cool cover and Save Me by Soraya is very good, there are like 2 more songs from that album that i realy like. The other are not too good.
Don't stop me now by The Vandals is a very good and powerfull cover i like it.
I would like to hear a cover played by The Darkness.

Stone Cold Crazy by Metallica. Nabbed a Grammy for the damn song. 'Best Metal Performance'
'Nuff said.
No, see, the stepford thing to do here is to say that, "You guys aren't true fans! No Queen song could possibly be covered and be successful! Any Queen song that's covered is inferior and doesn't deserve our attention!"
Ow, my eyes hurt from rolling them so much.
Lester, easy on the eye-rolling. It won't be pretty when one of them rolls out of your head (fascinating and eerily amusing, but not pretty)!
Getting to the topic at hand, I would like to say that 'so and so' should cover this. But I can't help but remember the Beyonce, Britney and Pink cover of WWRY... yeah that pretty much ruined covers for me and made me lose a ton of respect for Pink.
