From Brian's website:
"Thanks all of you who have written in about the possibility of Queen plus Paul Rodgers touring the States.
We are at present putting a proposal together for us to play dates in the USA starting end of September or early October.
That's assuming that in Europe all goes well."
I saw that! It completely brightened my day... As long as Boston and NYC are part of the tour itinerary, which they undoubtedly will. Maybe I'll even make the trek to Philly...
can you say road trip!
I can't afford to go to Europe at the moment, but i will seriously consider going to the US and travelling around!

That is very exciting news indeed! I only hope they make it over a weekend or else I'll have to call in "sick" from college for a day or two...*ahem* LOL
I say it's pretty much in the bag...exspecially after the news regarding the possible dates already listed for Canada.
This will indeed be wonderful...hope the FC will send us all OUR LETTERS to pre-book US/Canada dates with when the time comes...not like the UK dates eh?
AHEM!
Had a brilliant thought this morning...
How about a fan gathering for Boston area Queen Fans? We could all meet up somewhere a few hours before the show and socialize at a hotel lounge or the like. Maybe even a day long thing? We could all go around and see the sights too as there are lots of great things to do and see in Boston. Everything is pretty close to everything else and their is someting for everyones taste. Just some random thoughts....
Sound like fun? I am thinking of possibly "organizing" such a thing if enough are interested. I know i'm being WAY ahead of the game since no dates are even listed yet, but if they DO come to Boston, i would like to do someting special for the occasion.
I even came up with a catchy name for it...which i am refining at the moment, so it will feel like a "event" of sorts just for the heck of it.
So what you you all think? I'm sure other cities will have similar gatherings and meet ups....it would be nice to have one here in Beantown as there are some serious Queen Freaks here in the City ( can you say Berklee College of Music perhaps? Ha Ha Ha!!!)
CHICAGO - CHICAGO - CHICAGO!!!!!
But PLEASE NOT the Vic, a/k/a Chamber of Ancient Echoes. (Brian played there on the BTTL tour & the sound was dismal.)
Riviera! Aragon! Auditorium! Chicago! Shubert!
I'd have to believe they would be most likely coming to Detroit as well...........it would be SWEET to see them play the Palace of Auburn Hills...I've been there several times for concerts (Rush twice, Metallica, and Ringo Starr)...the place has great acoustics....
Palace of Auburn Hills or any place in chicago would be nice, since I'm in between these to places, also Toronto is do-able as well, I would like to see at least 6 shows if they come here.
