I just had all four of mine out last Tuesday and holy shit- it has been the worst four days of my life (so far that is)! I finally feel well enough to get up, get dressed and all that good stuff. (I am so sick of watching t.v.!) But thankfully, it's over forever! :)

I'm sorry to hear you had to have them taken out. My mum told me once she had hers taken out and she said it was so so painful. She was in hospital for three days when she had hers removed.
I was one of the lucky ones. I had the easiest wisdom teeth extraction in history, I think. Got them out when I was 21. Went to the oral surgeon in the morning, got the four of them pulled. Was home before noon. Relaxed a bit, and watched tv. That night I went out to dinner (crablegs, I remember! lol!) with my husband (who was then my boyfriend.). No swelling, not much pain. Nothing!
Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better! My son has to have his extracted very soon! :-)
Think of the positives, if you've had surgical extractions (I've had SIX, three at once each)
you'll probably not fuss over stuff like root-canals anymore.
The procedures didn't hurt a bit, the days after were a bit so-so. Especially in my case the first time I didn't really THINK at all and exercised with a bleeding mouth, causing naturally more bleeding. You'll soon lose interest in such meals as "blood pancakes" with blood dripping out of your mouth constantly.
Oh and I dislodged a bloodclot after my first extractions, which develeoped a "dry socket" and anyone who's had one knows that it's really painful and will probably make you lose sleep and turn you into a junkie... But I just lived through it for some 1,5 weeks, because I am an idiot...
Oh yeah, wisdom teeth extractions are fun. That was my message.
i think Mahler and BTBlondier had all of theirs removed years ago - and probably had the rest of their teeth removed to be safe and sure there were no wisdom bastards pretending to be "normal teeth"
