How many times have you heard Thank God It's Christmas this Christmas
I've heard it four times
Twice in my local Somerfield
Once on Radio 2
And once in the bowling alley
No cant say i have..and if i had i wouldnt of counted it like that ! but i did her "a winters tale" for the first time on the radio for the first time ever the other day.
I rarely listen to the radio but whenever i do i normally hear quite a few Queen songs and sometimes on the same day. I've never heard Thank God It's Christmas or Scandal though. I don't know why they never play Scandal. It's a great song.
TGIC features as track number 1 on the compilation "The Edge of Christmas," a compilation of Christmas-themed songs including work by Pat Benatar, the Pogues, Kate Bush, the Ramones, the Waitresses, and the lovely Bing Crosby-David Bowie cover of "Little Drummer Boy." Oglio Records put it out I think in 1995 as a subsidiary of Capitol Records. If you enjoy Christmas music with a rock n' roll twist, I definitely recommend this collection.
Heard it once last Tuesday on the radio... they don't usually play Queen or Elton John - that's why I don't usually listen to the radio, butthis time I was in a bus and twas nice to hear them again...
