hello queenies!!!
that there link goes to none other than composer Gary Stadler and vocalist Singh Kaur, creators of
"Fairy Nightsongs" and more.
I'd been wanting to purchase this cd in hand at link up in Sandwich MA. and finally bought my 2004 Christmas present to self.
The moment I heard the opening notes of "Nightsong" I knew I hit the musical jackbox! Remember the opening of "March Of The Black Queen" and all that dreamy ethereal sounding music from Queen and Queen 2? Well this CD and many more like it are up there at that link.
It's relaxing and soothing compared to the romping and rocking and rolling of Queen but then again, quiet noise is just equally as such in it's own unique perspective way.......

When things can't get any worse, they simplify themselves by getting a whole
lot worse then complicated. A complete and utter disaster is the simplest
thing in the world; it's preventing one that's complex. (Janet Morris) link link link come on, i know you want one. do the work and get it free.

Hmm.. I prefer my Queen.. and for quiet moments.. ENYA..
Enya does have a beautiful voice, but Loreena McKennitt is just...staggering. Prospero's Speech, The Lady of Shallot, The Highwayman, The Bonny Swans, The Mummer's Dance...her voice is incredible, and her music is just exquisite. I highly recommend her, if you've never heard her before!
Ja ne.
She's great, my mum has a couple of her CDs and I always used to pretend to hate it because it's not cool to like the same music as your mum, and now I can't admit how much I like it.
I own Fairy Nightsongs, and a couple of other CDs by Gary Stadler. I love them all. They are indeed very relaxing to listen to, and have a very...mystical quality to them.
