Dont you just find it annoying when theres a documentry on that says its a documentry about "QUEEN" when they just focus on Freddie !?!
They always start of with how QUEEN came ot be about and how all the boys met each other but then after that it just spirals off into the life off Freddie, It wasent just freddie (love him to bits) that was Queen !
I dont know !
Anybody know a good documentry that actually talks about QUeen as a band !?!
The magic years is pretty good if you can find it,although of course it only covers up to 1986.But plenty of good footage and insightful stuff about all the band.

I know what you mean. It's crazy, sometimes I think the people who make those forget that Brian, John, and Roger stayed in the band once Queen got successful. The same thing is true of books, there are loads of Freddie Mercury biography and many more Queen books that focus almost exclusively on Freddie. Only a few are accurate and well-balanced accounts of the band.
I guess most people want to know more about Freddie. I certainly do. He had an air of intrique about him which Brian and Roger don't have. They're always in the media gabbering on about Queen these days to the point where I don't listen anymore. Moreoever, Roger and Brian can't even sell solo albums, so the general public isn't going to be interested in reading about them, are they? The authors want the books to sell, so they concentrate on Freddie. That's just my two cents on the matter.

Alot of people talk about freddie the most as if he was the only member of Queen (Freddies my favourite member) because of his amazing voice and his life they all seem to miss out Brian, Roger and John. Only you Queen fans class him as what he wanted to be classed as 25% of Queen. (I'm not having a go at any of you) but i must agree it anoys me to sometime when you sit down to watch something about the whole group and you hear the same thing as you do in every documentary just stuff about freddies life.
