I had no time yet to watch the DVD and compare with the TV versions, so I'd like to know if anybody spotted some difference (different camera angles, etc) between them. I really would like to be sure before disposing my TV recordings of the concert...
Hi Jeroen,
Thanks for your reply.
So you recommend we keep the whole previous TV recordings of Milton Keynes or only some specific songs?
About Wembley, you are comparing with the previous official release (LD/VHS), right?
I forgot to compare those at the time of the Wembley DVD release, but as they are original items, of course I still have them ;)
Yeah, such as the Voice crack on Fat Bottomed Girls.. to me that was wrong that they fixed it the way they did.. I mean, I can understand it, but it isnt proper.. Call me anal.. but I DO like my LIVE recording to be live, and SO FAR, we have NOT had one..... I want to hear what the audience heard that night, SCREW the mistakes.. that makes them HUMAN.. So I will keep my Bootleg of Milton Keynes.. of course I will not throw away my DVD either... but it does add to the many dissapointments that Queen has given me
Correct! But mind you, that even Wembley has it's overdubs! (WATC) Both Wembley and MK have very very little, realy minor overdubs. But they are there...
I cannot point out particular MK-tracks that have different editing and different angles... Most of them have!
And yes, I did mean comparing Wembley DVD to the original official release.
Perhaps, yeah...
But just before that point, you can fainly hear Brian singing the "find me... somebody.. too-oooo love", two or three times. For some reason, I just always loved that.
If anything, I was hoping it would be clearer on the official release. I've just heard the cds, so maybe it'll be there in the 5.1 mix; i'm not getting my hopes up, though.
