I was lucky to vote in a school so they wound us around. We didn't have to stand in the rain but yes it was pouring down.
*waves at Janet* How are ya hun?
I really wanted to wear a Kerry t-shirt, but since my school was a voting place, we weren't allowed to wear political shirts, so we wouldn't "influence the voters." Like a person is really going to see a student wearing a Bush t-shirt or something and say, "Hey! That kid likes Bush- I guess I should vote for Bush too!"
It's strange that they do voting in schools.. I mean, my school was used for voting too.. but it's just strange.. school of all places.. I guess it is because there are a lot of them..
"God, that's one of the reasons why I hate Puffy so much"
Tell me about it. I can't stand those black folks that actually try and get the vote out. Sheesh...getting young people to actually care? What a waste.
I appreciate the effort that Andre from Outkast has made to try to remind young people to their right to vote is one of the most important rights they have. It's an intelligent way to let them know that they shouldn't ignore something that might change the course of their nation.
But Puffy and his "Vote or Die" campaign is just fuckin' dumb.
