In my 'Queen mp3 collection' :) I have Freddie singing with Michael Jackson, Freddie in a Ibex complete concert in 1969, Freddie's last live performance in 1988, and a few Freddie's demos and remixes.
None of them appeared in the FM box set. And if I am a Mr. nobody and I have this, I can supose there is more material recorded which didn't take part in the collection.
You can say that the songs with Jackson weren't included because of legal details... The last live performance hadn't good sound enough.... But there cannot be pretext for every record. so Why didn't this recordings appeared in the box set? will some of them ever be released in another form? Which other records are still in the darkness?
One of the reasons you won't get a reply is because these questions have been answered many times before. Especially in the last couple of months.
Search the forum and you will find answers. Here's a freebie... Ibex? They only included one track because of the quality issues etc. And actually, there are a lot of legal issues connected to your questioned tracks. So it's not so mysterious after-all.
Peace,
Adam.
i believe the reason the Ibex concert wasn't released was also due to copyrights. as for the remixes, who knows, but maybe some of them aren't "official".
