Hi all! I have been sitting on this for a little while now, And I have decided that now would be a good time to share it (I'm bored and also can't sleep). I've let a few people hear it, and the reception has been better than I could have asked! So, Here is "The King Of The Night"... Demo... :P link

Dan...I loved it!
It sounded very 'Russian' inspired. I thought it was excellent. Now. How would you like to host a song a week, originals only, for those 'zoners' that have original work? Janet is checking with someone too. Just thought I'd throw it out to you.
Again...excellent work my friend!
You have to right-click and download, don't just click it. Tripod is bitchy and would rather you use extra bandwidth of theirs by loading up a whole site hosted by them instead of saving them bandwidth by linking directly to a file.
I like the song a lot. But Dan already knows that :)
I quite like the song myself! Its been fun hearing it "grow" LOL!... Matt, it was my son I was going to ask...he has had a home network for awhile, with several large servers, but he is in the process of moving his stuff to his place of employment. If Dan wants to do it though, great!
:-)
For those of you that heard and commented on this track, Thank you!
Yes, Mr. Chicken, You are correct! I would have loved NOT to use them, But, I couldn't achieve those sounds on my own...
I had wanted to have that type of cymbal/gong-y sound in the beginning from the very start of the writing process (as with the 'tinkle'). I was going through some of the songs/sounds I had on my computer and happened to click on "China Belle". I was like "HOLY SHIT! THAT'S WHAT I NEED!!!" so, I clipped it and changed it up a bit.
As for the 'tinkle', I got that from DF a couple of months ago and forgot all about it. As I was trying to figure out how to make that sound on my own, I stumbled upon the wav file... And like the little bastard I am, Decided to cut a corner. I used quite a few different programs on it actually... Let's see... There was Voyetra Digital Orchestrator, Anvil Studio, Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, Goldwave... I don't THINK I used any others.
Again, Thanks all! I would have replied sooner, But I have been quite ill the last couple of days and actually couldn't make it to the computer. LOL!
